August 20, 2009 changed my life beyond compare, not only my life but my whole families, especially my father’s. What we all thought was going to be a normal day, turned into a living hell. My father was struck by a car driven by a 18 year old teenager, the cause was TEXTING! As my father lay in the hospital 19 days helpless, nothing has change, he can’t do anything. This tragedy has left him with permanent disabilities. You always think “well, this can’t happen to me”, but since we live in a real world, it can happen in a blink of an eye!

OK yes there should be a law duh! it can hurt people mentally and physically because we probably all have someone really close to us and what if they were to get into an accident because some bozzo wasn't paying any attention to the road because he was having a conversation with his buddy. your person close to you could get hurt or Killed!

Ok so i have to prepare a mock press conference and i went through a few subjects before i got to texting while driving. you not only put yourself but random strangers at risk of death while you do it. you have to be seriously mental to try it. and even if you walk away from the crash, you still have to live with the fact that you are responsible for taking somebody's life. now why would you want to live with that?

Texting while driving should be outlawed. and if we don't outlaw it we must take it upon ourselves to stop killing ourselves.
