If the current religiously-purposed, warped, maniacal, Iranian leaders continue to threaten genocide against Israel and the Jewish People who have already experienced such mass extermination attempt(s), then the bets would be that Israeli leaders would be left no choice but to pre-emptively destroy Iranian nuclear capabilities, for what Israel perceives - correctly or otherwise - is justified action for its survival.
The extremely dangerous and deadly rhetoric and intentions coming from the current Iranian regime, demonstrates the absolute need to stop any and all Iranian nuclear procurement, possession, acquisition, capability, etc, with regard to nuclear weapons, or other weapons of mass destruction. Otherwise we face total destruction of our planet as the result of the imminent - yes IMMINENT - nuclear exchange which will pale the radioactive fallout caused by the US's atomic bombs dropped on Japan sixty four years ago.

To "Elvis Elvisberg," the Iranian presidents repeated statements that he wants to "wipe Israel off the map" are evidence that Iran wants to commit genocide. The press release you cite is 2 years old. Some more recent analyses say that a nuclear Iran may be onloy a year away.
To C. Kubisz, I think that hearing how Israel sees the issue adds a valuable and informative insight to the debate over Iran, and is a worthy thing for an independent news organization to present. It does not mean that US News is a tool of the Israeli government.
