This is their way of life. Liars, Failures, Hypocrites and their leader and # 1 Failure Obama. All the words and they are just words from Obamas mouth are nothing but lies. He ran as a change candidate but he is a divider and a failure as a president. He is as transparent as the color black. Don Brock your an independent yeah , your a Liberal a$$!

Don E. Brook 9:25AM October 01, 2009

They say independents will not vote for an independent because they would be throwing away there votes, I heard this on CNN this morning or one of them programs.

Hows it feel to be manipulated? Just to have your vote count for one of the candidates.

Are your votes for A winner or for America?. I am a independent but Have only voted independent on the lower offices but I will vote for the best man as I see it when the time comes and I will not consider manipulated polls or fashion voting (Whats fashionable) I will debate with my friends learn what they know while they learn from me and I will decide on the knowledge I have collected and completely ignore polls and the fashionable thing to do. I act on my feelings not some bullies feelings.

As I see it in any election our biggest enemy is big business. Our biggest enemy to freedom and choice is big business, our Biggest enemy in life is big business.

I use Linux on a computer that did not come with Linux and since I live in a small town I cannot get the hardware supported by Linux because a lot of manufactures only support Microsoft or Apple but Linux is a free operating system that is supported with donations people pay if they can afford it which is not a method supported by controlling big business But I still use Linux because I will not support those who is against me.

OBama has great speech writers. He needs them to write the bills presented to congress. Harry Reid isn't a leader. He represents every reason for change that OBama lead us to believe he would change. Nancy Peloski represents Dold Foods and her husbands real estate interest in the House. It's embarassing to think that these are people that were elected to their offices. What does that tell us about the American voters?

clark jackson of TX 6:14PM September 28, 2009

Will someone tell Obanma to please stop leading the cheer and get to HIS quarterback postion and start leading the team! Perhaps Oprah can help him in that area too!

Mary the title especially on the WWW can break or make a story.

The republicans want back in control and so will block any bill or legislation without concerning themselves with the needs of America. The democrats has the majority and is in power and must do what they think is right but either lack the ability to debate do to experience in politics, or do not know how to interest “the other side” in a debate.

The other side? We should be looking at one another as Americans not republicans and democrats. I am neither and consider myself an American who votes. Americans are allowed to debate and disagree, We have a right to take part in our government, Although the American dream has most of us distracted from doing our part in the Government that is “for the people by the people” now its time to take back our Government and not as democrats or republicans that as we can see only weakens us by dividing us. We need to come together as Americans and debate as Americans.

Parties weaken us by allowing us to vote party or not debate within our own party which makes voting easier Because you do not have to research and dig through the deceptions of parties yourselves.

Debating is not disloyal, its just another way to learn and adjust to new ways.

President Obama has grand ideas However he is still old school, So even though he might know what is right he still has older politicians to debate with and learn from. If he is going to change the white house and our government he needs our support so he does not get distracted. We voted for change So we must be a part of change for it to happen.

This article by Mary Kate Cary was published in USNews Weekly on July 10, 2009. Quote: "The U.S.Postal Service is a great example of a cokngressionally run "public plan" for delivery of services that people need. No thanks."

Mary Kate Cary should be aware of tha fact that the U. S. Postal Service does not receive tax money. It is financed by postage paid by those who use the Postal Service. It is not congressionally run. It has an independent Board of Governors appointed by the President.

How about the democrats in MA that 4 years ago changed a law to keep a then Republican Gov from being able to appoint someone to John Kerry's seat if he had been elected president. Now there is a Democratic Gov and they reverse the law. That's hypocrisy. Its one sided statements and mindsets like yours that CAUSE this huge rift between the parties. Then you have Pelosi who is the worst excuse for a leader I have ever seen. She is divisive, antagonistic and arrogant and those are NOT good qualities in a leader.

I don't agree with many Democratic ideas, but I also don't agree with everything on the Republican side either. I believe in real discussion, not a bunch of finger pointing and political grandstanding on TV.

Rob of RI 10:38PM September 24, 2009

So who brought the corruption of ACORN to light? Was it MSNBC, a democratic politician, or was it FOX News? In particular Glenn Beck? Who said Transparancy in Government, I'm getting rid of the lobbyist, change from bush policies & my personal favorite, I for one think we need to improve our current health care system rather than create a new system (after he campaigned on a new system of health care?) You know the answer, so theres no need in saying it. You know as well I could list more lies from the Democrats, and I know I could list just as many lies from the Republicans, but my point is they both lie very, very, very much! Until people like you realize we have let our government run ammuck worse than Bush ever let Wall Street, Nobody will come out of this for the better. Until you realize the Democrats are just as bad if not worse than the Republicans, we are all doomed.

Ymerej of SC 4:55PM September 23, 2009

The real hypocrits are squarely in the Republican Party and on Fox TV for the most part also far right radio.
