This man is merely restating his opinions with no specific references to the research claims he's making. He's also sidestepping the argument by making a case for the usage of data rather than the usage of this particular exam. The onus is on the College Board to show why the SAT needn't be improved. Such an argument would have to explore alternative tests and provide evidence for why those alternatives aren't better than the SAT as is.

The SATs are necessary to help with schools to know which of each students are most likely succed in college. It helps colleges know that once they get the score of the Students SATs that they know whether to accept or deny a student. It helps each student feel more comftorable in the college atmosphere. although there are exceptions to this, since not every one is capable of having the same IQ as everyone else, its good to know that they could be accepted for other reasons

I think that this man has a great opinion and I agree with him. I believe that SAT's are inportant to help prepare us for the future. Transition is always helpful to further yourself and be prepared.

I think that these tests are necessary in this day of age as this writer has given valuable reasons for them being needed. I believe that the more data is good to have but not necessary. Quality over quantity in my opinion is better.

I believe that this man makes a very good argument. The statistics shown were good evidence and supported his opinion. I feel, as a student, that it is necessary to take SAT's for college admission. It will broaden our learning capabilities and will make us feel more comfortable in the college environment.

The Admissions Experts are a fraud, a friend of mine wasted a lot of money on them. I've used Alliant Consulting out of Redlands, they are fantastic and prices are very reasonable. www.alliantcollegeprep.com

Has anyone here used a college admissions consulting company? Someone recommended The Admissions Experts to me (www.TheAdmissionsExperts.com). Has anyone else used their services before? Thanks

Life is not fair, but regarding the opportunity to attain a college education, the playing field has been greatly leveled. Remembering that not every student is a college prep student, for any college prep student, there are ample opportunities.

There are AP courses offered at most public high schools. There are extracirricular opportunities including maintaining an impressive grade level while working fulltime.

In summary, we limit ourselves greatly when we greatly limit the list of institutions that define success.
