Tommy, You may be a family of 5 living on a farm, but you do cause global warming - your cows fart -- That releases CO2. I will sell you a cow cork for $4 each so you can contribute to the solution. Each cork will allow only clean gas to passss through. Then with your caps you can trade them for pig corks. Now that's cap & trade!!! You will be covered from the rear. The ends of Cap & Trade.

Have a nice day, Al

hey, i'm not saying that global warming doesn't exist and i'm certainly not saying that the world is ending in 2012, what i am saying is that you can't shut your eyes and pretend like global warming is a hoax that the government has created to sift through our wallets. It is happening, maybe the new bill passed is weak but we are no longer in the posistion to have a 'wait and see' attitude. i'd rather pay now than pay much more dearly later. it is past midnight people. wake up and do some research, and i don't just mean al gore.

Global Warming. Hmmmmm. I wonder what caused the Ice Ages to begin? What caused the glaciers to melt, ending the Ice Ages? It must of been the cave men's camp fires and smoke. They had total disregard for the earth and as punishment, they are all dead now. And, we will be punished too for ignoring the warnings of UN and to Al Gore. Wait ! Look ! The sky is falling. AAAhhhhhh !!!

JUST ANOTHER PONZI SCHEME.

WE ARE A FAMILY OF FIVE, LIVING ON OUR FARM.

WE ARE NOT DIRECT ENERGY CONSUMERS.

WHERE IS OUR CREDIT FOR NOT POLUTING, THAT WE COULD USE TO OFFSET PRICE INCREASES THAT WILL BE INEVITABLE.?

ARE WE TO BE EXCLUDED FROM CAP AND TRADE?

IF WE ARE TO BE EXCLUDED, THEN WE SUGGEST YOU RENAME PROGRAM MORE HONESTLY...IE TAX AND TRADE ON THE COMMODITY MARKET.

Carbons of any kind are ruining the plant life, there is no real clean air to breath for humans or animals; the cause and affect is cimplex, forest fires, brush fires, auto emissions, diesel fuel emissions;airplane jet fuel constantly emitting carbon dioxides, industrial pollution air waste;volcanic eruption spewing out tons of ash and gases and this is world wide;human and animalgases pollution; this is a composite of some of the heaviest problems This Earth faces daily and we don't do enough to curb it or curtail it. On the face of this most folks go about their daily lives without one thought of "Did i do that!" If you really want to do something ride bikes, motorcycles, and walk. Build roads and highways that accomodate walkers and joggers, and bike traffic and stay off the highways and out of the sky when you don't need to drive or fly.Every bit of prevention starts with just one person. Be the first in your household to turn off the electric when and where you can. Use Clothes lines after washing clothes and use less hot water; tepid or cold with soap work well. And keep Big government out of our wallets. Its all self control, you really have to start with just one.....YOU!

You don't want to see either one of them being made, and the Waxman-Markey bill is the finest piece of sausage created by Congress in many, many years. Not only will it do nothing to reduce atmospheric CO2, it will create a massive false economy in carbon credits. We will be trading air. If you think CDO's and credit default swaps credit profits out of nothing, wait till carbon trading gets ramped up. Oh, and who stands to profit from such nonsense? Look up Generation Investment Management.

The Global Warming alarmist house of cards is rapidly collapsing. After health care reform is sent to the dustbin the Senate will take up this bill. I can see another round of town hall meetings once citizens realize their energy bills will double for absolutely no reason at all. I wonder how those coal states feel now, you know, the ones that put Obama over the top? Buyer's remorse, perhaps?

It is not just the fact that global warming is occuring; the real issue is that it is occuring at a much faster rate either than predicted or than any time in geologic history. When climate changes occur over millenia as has been the case in the past, plants and animals have to evolve and adapt to the changes. If humankind doesn't alter the rapid increase of CO2 in the atmosphere, literally thousands of species will become extinct. We depend on a very complex ecosystem for our very lives. We don't know which species, the loss of which will drastically alter that balance and result in a much less friendly, even uninhabitable world.

Fear of Odumma and his Acorn Administration over the next three years, because there are no truths about Al Gores money stealing scam of global warming.

Vote out these fools in 2010.

Vote out Odumma in 2012!!!

Vote out anyone preaching global warming and the bogus Cap and TAX!!

Restore America of it's superior standing in the world through power not weakness as of the Obama radical left!!!

The earth has endured many periods of glaciation (Ice Ages) all followed by a period of "Global Warming". With slight variations the earth has been in a warming trend since the end of the Pleistocene Epoch (most current Ice Age) - about 11000 years ago. I observe the globe began to warm prior to SUV's and fossil fuels.

During the last Ice Age sea levels were hundreds of feet lower than today - Humans and animals have always adapted to changes in sea level, notwithstanding Eco-High Priest, ALGORE's opinion, and gloomy forecasts of the end of civilization.

At the peak of our most current Ice Age the glaciers advanced as far south as about the 40th parallel of latitude in some areas. Then, as now, life flourished in the middle latitudes.

The reason for this is actually simple - There is more biomass in warm climates than in colder ones... Greater Biomass means more life.

Considering this, it's easy to understand why we grow things in "green houses" and not freezers.

Further, I note that polar ice caps have completely melted away many times in the Earth's past - yet most life, even polar bears, survived.

As the earth is currently nearing the end of our current interglacial period I would suggest that the advancing ice will be the real threat in the future - Not ALGORE"S bogeyman - that, incidentally, has made him a very wealthy man... I mean, Eco-Priest.
