Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois accuses Republicans of orchestrating protests at town hall meetings on healthcare as a way to sabotage reform efforts. While acknowledging that, "Town meetings are not bean bag. I've had hundreds of them, and sometimes folks get upset. And that's part of America, part of our process," Durbin added, "But this is clearly being orchestrated, and these folks have instructions. They come down from a Texas lobbyist in Washington." Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky called the complaints "absurd." What do you think? Are Republicans playing dirty politics? Or are Democrats simply finding healthcare reform a tough act to sell? Share your thoughts below.
