How Should the Baseball Hall of Fame Treat the Steroid Era?

Are we going to put a asterick next to every pitcher that pitched off the 15 inch mound or higher from 1093- 1968(Prime Example...the LA Dodgers and their reputed 20 inch mound)...What about the stories of "juiced baseballs" in the 1990s and early 2000s reputed to increase scoring by MLB. Does MLB now go back and try and formulate an equation that takes a percentage off a hitters HR totals because someone claims the balls were juiced.

Seriously get over yourselves you bunch of self righteous hippocrites. Pay ALL your taxes, don't muscle an inch of your zero lot line, don't exceed the posted speed limit, dont fudge your expense reports at work etc etc etc etc etc...THEN you have a right to judge someone!!!!!!

Come on i think no steroids in baseball is like polo without the horse or football without the ball it whould be no fun to watch. so i think they should just get over the steroid era and let them by in the hall of fame.

A-Rod,Manny,Barry,and every one else that used roids shoud NOTbe able to go to the Hall of Fame because they cheated. It shoud be based on the time when they didn't use the illegel substence or whatever. So they all shoud never go to the Hall of Fame.Espcially Ortiz who protested against roids.

Baseball is Sad....somewhat

I wonder how many of the self-righteous individuals who think baseball has been and should always be "pure as the driven snow," without even a hint of cheating or questionable practices, have ever engaged in the practice of cheating on their taxes. How many questionable deductions did they take? How much income never got reported?

THE RECORD BOOKS SHOULD SHOW AN ASTERICK THAT STATES THAT ALL RECORDS SET DURING THE "STERIOD ERA" WERE INDEED SET DURING THIS TIME PERIOD. THIS WAY, AS TIME MARCHES ON, PEOPLE CAN DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES WHAT RECORDS ARE REAL AND WHICH WERE TAINTED.

The Hall of Fame should just have the steroid era section in the Hall of Fame. Major League Baseball is the BLAME for not having strict rules when those players where using it. I like the comment about Roids/Botox, it's true, movie stars are the same. You can't do much for the past, even though a lot of homerun's where hit, a lot of those pitches came from pitcher's that where doing the same! ??? I mean no one is perfect in this world. How about all that money #1 draft picks get for signing a contract. That is ridiculous!! There will always be something wrong with something.. I personally would accept some of the retired ball players in the Hall of Fame only for for their performance in the field. It's not easy to hit a small tiny ball coming at you at 95 miles per hour!!! That's my opinion. Thank you

It has never been shown that Big Mac used an illegal substance. He did use Andro and kept it openly in his locker -- but it was not illegal at the time. He said at the time that if Andro were made illegal he would stop using it. Shortly after the controversy arose he voluntarily stopped using Andro even though it was was legal. Give the man his due, and his rightly earned place in the HOF.

Cheaters should not and I repeat should not be rewarded.

IGNORE THE PAST WHEN DETAILS WERE NOT DRAWN OUT AND

MOVE ON..............

In every locker room from the minor leagues to the major leagues there is a common poster hanging on the walls "NO GAMBLING" on Baseball games. Not, no drugs, no steroids, no alcohol but NO GAMBLING especially on your own team. So i'll pull my pitcher out of the game early because i have a wager on the game. That's rich!!!!
