HBO's Shouting Fire Is More Congratulatory Than Analytical on Free Speech Issues

After reading Mr Rotherhamer's review it's fairly clear that he's a fan of controlled speech. It seems fairly clear that he finds the current erosion of our civil liberties in some way serves an agenda he is in favor of. Whatever it is, it's antithetical to individual freedom.

Although I found the film to be lighter in tone than I would like it to be it was an excellent first step toward initiating a national discussion that is necessary if we are to be a free people. Otherwise, the freedom that The United States once stood for will be relegated to the trash heap of history as we move into a totalitarian abyss.
