Lemme see: how many of these folks get to vote for their national leadership and how many of them have their leadership imposed upon them?

And how many of them, given the choice, would stay where they are and how many of them would pack their bags and move to the United States of America?

Perhaps you asked the wrong question?

Perhaps the Kuwaitis would have preferred to have been annexed into Iraq under Saddam (instead of charging us $100 a barrel for oil)?

Perhaps the Syrians would rather be executed by Assad's secret police?

Perhaps the Egyptians would prefer to refuse American taxpayer money?

Perhaps the Palestinians would rather be who they really are: Jordanian.
