On murder in the womb? I pray never!

Professor Dallek is so easily misled by Obama's rhetoric. Saying the Sotomayer pick is reaching out to moderates and conservatives is like saying North Korea's missile launches represent reaching out to South Korea for unification. Sotomayer is one of the most liberal left judges on the bench, that is why 29 Republican Senators voted against her when she was named to the second circuit 15 years ago. Where has Obama compromised on any issue? Certainly not on the budget, which is the most radical big spending pro debt budget in US history. How about a commenatator here at US News that does not suffer from child like credulity?

You (Matthew Dallek) actually believe this? That Obama is reaching out? I voted for him and have almost never seen a more polarizing president. This is a crazy proposal. The republicans are tokens ... jokes in these talks and discussions. The democrats don't need them and haven't listened to them, but barely. To beat them back, all I hear is "they have no ideas" (remember that when the shoe was on the other foot some years back?) and "I've inherited a republican mess." (which is such an over-simplification of the truth, but allows the democrats to keep a certain level of our party jovial).

Seriously, I cannot believe you actually feel good about yourself for writing this. I am simply stunned.
