I do not lie about any of these things. Why? Because my memory is so bad that I would never be able to remember my stories to support lies! So I figure it's best to tell the truth and deal with the consequences. What I have found is that the truth really does set you free, as the cliche goes. In any situation where the truth is a bad thing, you're better off moving on to better things (or better people) anyway.

I am too young to have had much experience and to have been able to drink legally until recently - I only drink to fit in since I don't much like the taste, except for wine, tequila, cachaca, beer and gin, and maybe vodka or cognac. My friend asked about my other past relationships, over a candlelight dinner when we stayed in to practice our endurance Kundalini Yoga one weekend, and commented that neither one of us had changed much since we were skinny geeks, before we went to college at Arizona State and Notre Dame to study communications. We, of course, never talk about our professional lives or the profound rage we both are feeling about working for far right wing think tanks and their outrageous lies and falsehoods - never. I think I'll have just one highball now to calm me after my incredible discretion in this online commentary.
