Should Bush Administration Officials Be Prosecuted Over Torture?

Bush administration figures have been accused of orchestrating the torture of prisoners. Those who favor prosecuting them say torture is a war crime and thus demands punishment. Those against prosecution cite the terrorism risk and say interrogations were all by the book. What do you think? Should there be trials? The Bush administration should definitely be prosecuted. As far as i'm concerned, they commited war crimes and are responsible for many innocent peoples deaths. We shouldn't have even been in Iraq and after Saddam, we should have been in Afghanistan looking for Bin Laden.

We can't change the rules and punish someone for following the old rules. We have enough to fix from the Bush Administration. Let's move on and fix the problems we have.
