i think we shouldnt have longer schoold days because i thinnk that its just gonna cause more people to drop out there is gonna be more drama around and some places dont have enough money to afford for about 1000 students year around every year when school about to people over there is like nothing to eat i think its fine the way it is we dont need to compet because others countries have year round we dont need to be like everybody else we are america and if we gonna make chnages this isnt one of them start with helping others with getting jobs that will help alot of parents but holding kids in school in longer is more conflict

school school day shouldn't be longer because it will be to much memory in childrens head which can cause lots of memory lose as well as not wanting to come to school

there sholdn't be extended time in school because it could cause problems at school like lake of respect and lots of fighting in school which can cause chilldren to get exspelled suspentoin and parent to give up on there kids.kids will disrespect city people and kids wlii drop out or end up in juvi or in dys lock up and kids will start to care about any thing.

i think it shouldn't be longer because it could cause more problems and more fights that could cause kids to be severly injured. parent will less likely send there kids to school for those type's of reasons

No I think school days should not be longer because if we go to school at 9:oo than we have to get out of school at 6:00 and when we start our homework it will take us 2-3 hours of work and less time to sleep and than we have to start all over

I think that the school days should be longer because that way student will be able to learn more. If they have a huge test coming up (for my child it's ISAT's, we live in Illinois) they need the extra time to help prepare and study for the test. But if we have a shorter day then the students do not learn as much as they should. My child gets out of school at around 2:00 p.m. But compared to other schools that get out at around 3:30 that's barely enough time for the students to learn.
