Not a single instance in the THOUSANDS of posted legal gun defense uses did the PERP have a legal concealed weapons permit......

Absolutely not. Only by loosening controls can we remain better armed than criminals.

Enforce existing laws

Criminals do not observe existing laws let alone

any new ones.

They fear armed citizens more than the police as the police

are rarely around when a crime is in progress, but if they

think the potential victim is armed, they will back off.

Gun free zones are really....victims available zones

If a gunman opened fire in a library...who would be able to protect themselves...."no deadly weapons allowed" sign is in the entrance......

While if no one knew who was "carrying'...it would make them

think twice before trying anything.

We need to enforce the existing laws. Here in Ohio, it's an automatic +3 years for using a gun in a crime. But the prosectutors quite often dont add on the addition time or charge the suspects. When guns are outlawed, only the outlaws will have guns! Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, and other tyrants first took away the guns. An armed public is a free public.

I'm OK with gun control if it's done legally by amending the Bill of Rights.

Nope.

We certainly need some more controls, not the least of which is closing the gun show loophole. Guns enable people to EASILY kill people, for there's no defense for a bullet that's `on the way'.

My response to gun control is to look at what history tells us. In nations where the citizens are prevented for protecting them selves from murders, rapists, or armed political groups have been the victims of gangs, dictators, etc. Firearm ownership is "the" key to freedom. Seldom if ever are the police on the scene at the time a crime is committed. Just look at the statistics regarding response times. Enough said.
