I don't see a problem, the issues with the Republican party aren't gays and rock music it's the economy and big government. We have to evolve as a party and keeping the same stale issues to cater to people who have a narrow vision of the world when America is more than just a few polarizing individuals who keep the party from expanding and gaining younger members.

I hope that Ms McCain rises in the party. I like her liberal social stance and conservative fiscal views. Hope that she supports Simpson Boles, unlike Rombama.

If giving up conservative values is the future of the Republican party it has not much of a future. I don't like punk rock, I don't have any tattoos, and I don't have any gay friends. John McCain was not our best and Meghan is less than that.

Gingrich in 2012.

Meghan McCain is a ditz. NO she is NOT the future of the GOP and neither is Sarah Palin, even though I like her a lot and voted for John McCain ONLY because Sarah was his running mate. I would have stayed home on election day, if it hadn't been for Sarah. Let's get real people, how in the heck can Meghan McCain help anything, much less the GOP? The good Lord knows the GOP needs help, but Meghan is certainly not the one to save it!.

Yes, definitely. It is the failure of the Republicans to draw tattooed voters that has hurt them at the ballot box.

Seriously, folks, Bush/neocon warmongering and borrow-and-spend killed the party. They can never compete with the Democrats on pandering to illegal aliens and gays.

Is she the future of the GOP? I sure hope so. But I won't be getting a tatoo any time soon.

Brad of TX 3:42PM April 21, 2009

Meghan McCain couldn't make it on a reality TV show so she does the next best thing guaranteed to get herself known in the media-Badmouthing conservatives. Who cares what she thiks about anything anyway?

You obviously don't know Log Cabin Republicans are gay Republicans who say 'if we don't have a country our social issues won't matter'.

Less gov't. Less taxes. Less handouts. More individual responsibility-less whining.

Release the memos Cheney asked for if you want real transparency! Stop shouting and whining democrats-what are you afraid of..the truth??
