Did Obama Bow to Saudi King Abdullah?

Your words are very true

In the Islamic religion should not bend a single one of the people

In the belief that Muslims bow to God alone, and only this very beautiful

But there is nothing in Islam called the (Wahhabi)

I am Spaniard and I am studying Islamic culture, which was in our country and I know a lot about

I am currently in the country that came out of Islam, Saudi Arabia

That's why I know a lot about Islam and Muslims in this country

There are many extremist sects of Islam are all affiliated with

But the majority of Muslims follow the religion they brought that Prophet Muhammad

, Which is called by another name are Wahhabi extremists in Iran

I do not want to dwell on this subject because it is not the main topic, but for illustration only

I am sorry I will return to the main theme

Yes I saw what he did to Obama in front of the Saudi king, but I can see that it is not bowing

It is simply a respect for the King of Saudi Arabia

Thank you

he is unfit, a fool, his wife is worthles as a first lady they are both liars, thieves and dont care a lick about the regular joe. they want a one world order which they think they will rule and they will destroy the middle class and create an elite and poor society thats socialisim. they are frauds, they dont know what transparency means and they will go down in history as destroying this country from within. Personaly Ive never heard them say a good thing about america i think they may be muslims and hope for the distruction of america. watch for the one world order, government, and financial system. america will be taken out of the picture thanks to them and thier cronies if we as citizens dont wake up in 2010 elections. thats if they dont steal it with the congrssional slush fund money thwy stole.

However, as the New York Daily News and others have pointed out, Republican president Richard Nixon bowed in 1971 to Akihito's father, Emperor Hirohito — who ruled Japan during the Second World War. True, Nixon's bow wasn't as deep as Obama's but was a bow nonetheless.

In his defence, maybe Cheney is just a little confused as he was used to seeing his former boss showing his respect by holding hands.

Actually, Muslim etiquette forbids bowing to any other than God so the Prez came off as beyond rude - especially since no other leader or diplomat in the room was stupid enough to bow to a Wahhabi. A slight bow of the head is permitted but this on your knees nose in the crotch move made him look like some sort of pervert.

It would have been proper to kiss alongside each cheek of the King - but NOT to bow.

One of the major issues that have confronted the US over the years is understanding and accepting the culture and customs of other countries. The US is not alone in the world and we need "Friends". Respect the other guy and stop expecting everyone to step down or aside simply because you are an American. The world is a very small place after all is said and done. It takes nothing away from a man who is comfortable with who and what he is to Acknowledge and Respect the next guy. One needs to understand that he or she is not the most important thing in the next guy's world, only in your own mind are you TOP DOG!

The President is mindful of his position and he gives due respect to other leaders. In doing so, he gets respect. He is not afraid. If he were, he would never have run for the Presidency in this America. America, are we ready to accept that there are other people and cultures who have been here just as long or from a historical point of view, a lot longer that us? Help or step off.

This guy is an idiot. The president of the United States should bow to NO ONE!!! I don't care if the Saudi is a king, he wouldn't be the king if the US didn't support him. And as far as the emperor of Japan goes...no way. I understsnd the president should respect their positions, but never...ever bow down to them, or anyone else. Obama is an embarassment to this country. He is more concerned with being president of the world than he is for the respect and safety of the United States. When he was campigning for president....for four years he made a speech in Germany where he said, "People of Berlin, this is our moment, this is our time". The same exact words he used in Ohio. He also made some moronic statement about having "been to all 56, or I guess it's 57 states now". The news media gave that one a pass, as they do every idiotic thing Obama does. I can't imagine what would have happened if Bush would have said thet...they never gave the guy a break for saying, "nucular" instead of nuclear. Obama is a communist traitor and along with the other communists in government are ruining this country. IT'S TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE...AND THE SENATE WHILE WE'RE AT IT!!!

This man knows nothing of foreign protocol or being the head of the greatest nation on the planet. What an embarrassment this man has been to us.

What is wrong with a bow? Didn't kneel did he? He greeted this man the way he wanted to, he is not a puppet of the United States he's the President of the United States. People you really need to stop judging our President help him. Look at yourself and ask what good have I done to help my fellow man. Like the 9 year old said God is love. Try love all races because God made us in his own image and likeness so stop and look at yourself.
