Can Diplomacy Alone Block Iran's Nuclear Goals?

Very few of us would want diplomacy to fail. But the question is whether it will work. In order for a negotiation to work, both parties must be rational and must have atleast a minimal interest in succeeding in negotiations. Although each of us probably likes one more than the other, Bush and Obama are both rational. Ahmadinajad? That may be different. With his shocking remarks before a recent address of the UN General Assembly, and other statements that God wants him to bring armegeddon to the world, and unbreakable interest in a weapon that will kill hundreds of thousands, he may be as irrational and unstoppable as Hitler. I don't believe any negotiations or diplomacy will stop him.

When will you Americans grow up, after Iran drops the first atomic bomb on somebody? You haven't learned from the British foreign secretary Chamberlain, Pearl Harbor, the North Koreans nor...?, I believe you Americans just love to keep your head in the sand forever? or until it's too late? again...Grow up, will you? or just that you have become a bunch of sissies and are now afraid of all those so and so in the U.N.?

Diplomacy will not work. That should be obvious by now. And it is unfortunate that Obama is busy appeasing the arab countries, for they take it as a sign of weakness, not conciliation.
