By signing this Global treaty, we are putting the US in the hands of all other nations. Based on how much PPM we produce of CO2, we will have to pay out to other countries. Where is the money going to come from? Is paying out money going to change anything but our economy for the worst? We are essentially giving our country away by signing this treaty.

People will follow blindly a lie and thumb their nose at the truth. I'll tell you the truth. Global warming is a big fat lie. The only people to profit from any kind of cap and trade legislation would be extremists like Al Gore and the like. What is his carbon footprint like? Massive I would say, if there is a such thing. As a christian, I believe that there is a coming global warming or as the Bible says, a meltdown. 2 Peter, Chapter 3:10-12 says, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. Now that will be a definite global warming. God's word is true and God does not lie. Man always tries to be in charge. Man thinks he is so self sufficient and can even determine global warming. God is in control and he can warm or freeze us as he sees fit. It gets awful cold in these Tennessee mountains. I kind of believe the weather goes in cycles. More accurately, I believe that God is in charge. I may be preaching to the choir -- but this is my opinion and right now I have a chance to voice it. For any unbelievers, check out the Bible for yourself. Ask God to reveal himself to you before it is too late.

The phony global warming crisis is being mainly promoted by the UN who, with a global treaty, want to gain control of the world’s energy sources. The environmentalist are just the ‘useful idiots’ in the UN’s effort. Our agreement to such a treaty would be very costly and do nothing for the environment. The idea that the climate can be controlled is absurd and completely unfounded. First, that the alleged global warming is caused by only CO2 levels should be questionable by everyone. It should be obvious that there are many other factors are involved. Some may even be unknown. Unfortunately, money and politics have replaced science, logic and reason in this issue. Fred Krupp claims that global temperatures have risen 2 degrees without stating the time period and then blames it all on greenhouse gases without any documentation. In contrast, reports* of global temperature measurements by satellites show that there has been no increase in global temperature during the past 10 years. In fact, the most recent measurement(6/09) shows a decrease of 0.74F degrees in the earth’s temperature since Al Gore wrote his book of horrors. During this time CO2 levels have increased while global temperature decreased. This should completely refute the foundation of the greenhouse gas theory. Additional evidence can be found by looking at measured** CO2 levels in the atmosphere. In the past 10 years they have only increased about 20ppm. It is inconceivable and just impossible for this level to cause any global temperature change. This is also just as true for the full 385ppmof CO2 presently reported to be in the atmosphere. The reason is that CO2 is a very poor absorber of infrared radiation(heat). This is verified in its infrared spectrum which shows CO2 absorbs only a small portion of the complete infrared radiation region. An inconvenient fact but a fact nevertheless. Sadly these facts showing the fraud of global warming and its alleged cause have been ignored by the media and of course, the zealots and those with their hidden agenda. The reason is due to the massive and expensive campaign devoted to brainwashing the public and media into believing in the scam. Now we have a Climate Bill where the US is suppose to ‘lead the way’ in this futile, ridiculous and very costly attempt to control the climate.

Good ole Mother Nature will take care of this planet Earth.
We are so vain to think we can change anything on this world.
One volcano, one earthquake, or other natural disaster that Mother Nature decides to unleash on mankind should give you a clue as to how we have no effect what so ever on global warming.
What is trying to destroy the human race are our legislatures.
Democrats with thier socialistic agenda.

Funny how these people who won't give their own money (or much of it) or change their way of life want others to. There is no proof, there is only theory, much like the coming ice age of the 70's which will be back again in 20 or 30 years. Way to play on peoples emotions, It must be man huh? It could not be nature. I stopped believing in global warming when Mt. St. Helens erupted. That one volcano reportedly emitted more pollutants than man has in his entire history. Cant be the sun, cant be a cycle, it has to be man and we have to destroy our way of life to fix it because it might be happening. These people also claim to want child health care but advocate abortion, they put trees and insects before people. Why take them seriously? Why not get them psychological help or introduce them to Jesus. Just pitiful.

The world has been cooling in the 11 years since the El Nino- inspired spike of 1998. Their is no need to curb CO2 to curb global warming because, THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING! The entire left-wing strategy of cap and trade, running the coal plants out of business, strangling domestic oil and gas production and signing meaningless Kyoto agreements, etc, etc rests entirely on a canard, a fraud. Canada had a hard time getting crops in this year. In the Northern USA, 2009 was the year without a summer. When are the Republicans going to wake up and take advantage of the global warming hoax which continues to be pushed by Democrats. WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY!!

You need to be able to back up the "scientific claims" from any side. I became interested in this subject because of a lack of credibility. For example,I found a book which in 1887 stated that the annual temperature for Portland,Maine was 45%(back then they didn't use tenths of a degree or maybe they did.) Over the last few years the average temperature has been mostly 45.2%. For the number of years involved and the large amount of tar and concrete construction, wouldn't it be warmer? This year I noticed most days colder than average according to the weathermen.This is just one example. Why talk about the ice and temperatures around the South Pole with its ice falling into the sea when it is summer during January? Why do the have the international observatory on stilts and the 1911 observatory under 90-100 ft of ice-because about 1 foot of ice and snow accumulate each year forcing the new international observatory to be elevated every few years.
The Kyoto treaty was and still is a farse. Why? When they stated that 2500 climatologists were at the making of the treaty, why were there only 250 or less real climate scientists? Why hasn't the people behind the treaty required China and India to join and follow at least some restrictions? Can we always be the "cash cow" for the environmentalists? Look at what they made the Corps of Engineers back 20 odd years ago do-less than what they had tried to do to fix the levy problems on the Mississippi-then when the Mississippi River flooded again, the environmentalists complained but wouldn't take the blame for why the levies would not hold the water back.
