No Jobs Without College as Employers Treat Degree as a Minimum

This article is true to form. Most people in the U.S. take out the greatest amounts of student loan debt beyond that which can be paid back to the respective loan authority. It is tragic that many citizens remain simple-minded and ignorant sheeple through unfounded dreams and false hope with optimism in an illusary future. There is no waiting employment offer or perfect tangiable result after college graduation. These are empty promises and wishful thinking to degree holders that are completely meaningless. Unless we irradicate the major systems of disease within a corrupt United States Corporation and Charter of the Federal Reserve Banking System; no change will ever occur. It is through a devalued currency with the U.S. Dollar that no one can or has been able to solve the “outsourcing problem” of the last 30 years. It would be “extreme” if people worked to solve the “U.S. Dollar Crisis” to restore real manufacturing and production in an emphasis placed on arts, science, and technology of innovation. Nope this will never happen, most common people who graduate will settle with the worthless argument of staying the “status-quo” by accepting low-end service- sector work. Of course, this will never solve the true problem; but, re-born the real diseases America needs to eliminate. Low-wages and unacceptable working conditions is all that is seen through the United States. As each graduate fight every day for table scraps, more time is wasted to restore and give change to make America a better for all. In statistics, most settled Americans earn their total household income not more that $30,000 (“the average”). Most, on average, will stay at that minimum wage work with a hopeless future and no real change. We got change. Less Employment, More People With Student Loans, and More People Dependent on Welfare. Good Luck to the U.S. population. You will see more difficultly rather than optimism in the near future if action is never taken. Prepare by the most and expect for the worst in the coming years of 2012 and beyond. Love and Light. ~Mr. J Crowell

Except it’s not corporations causing this problem…they just have the opportunity now to ask for that Bachelor’s or Masters degree because there are so many people with them. Blame lenient lenders and low acceptance standards for Universities. Blame online so called universities or failing high schools across this country that teach to standardized tests rather than challenging its students. Blame college advisors that allow students to graduate with a Bachelors in a liberal arts degree that every single job in that field requires a masters if not a PhD. It is a sad truth that on the job training has all but disappeared. There are a thousand different schools offering trade certificates so that market is now being flooded. Since when do you have to have a certificate to enter medical records in a computer.

"A recent Denver Post article captured that nicely: "If I had a light labor job, I'd have a Ph.D. do it," explained a Denver employment agency staffer who had just hired two people with B.A.s to pick up sticks from sidewalks."

We have guys right here in my area with 4 year degrees who have jobs picking up trash to pay the rent. And you thought you were gonna go somewhere with your degree didn't you? Really changing the world aren't you? Morons.

That's why you're termed "educated idiots". A job that two years ago anyone could get regardless of education now you have to be 40k to 75k dollars or more in debt with a piece of paper from a college to get. wow, i bet you feel real smart don't you?

It's astonishing how easily people are pushed around in this country at the whims of corporations that can't make up their minds what, where, and how they wanna do things. These corporations think we the people should become slaves to their indecisive impulses.

Well, maybe I am a unemployed, homeless, "worthless" "bum"; but at least i aint nobody's bitch. So go on now take your nine dollar an hour job and your four year degree and your huge student loan debt and go tout about how "independent" you are.

This is frustrating to many Americans. When we started in the work force 30 years ago, a college degree was an 'extra'. Over the last 30 years we have achieved more than an education, we have acquired 'experience'. And it's questionable as to whether a college degree today is academically worth any more than our high school diplomas were. What's the point in raising an arbitrary academic bar that doesn't add value to the work at hand? Why require college degrees for paper pushers and other support or task oriented roles? Why, why, why, do we need to over educate our population at such great expense? In the lazy attempts companies employ for hiring and retaining good employees the requirement of a college degree is the most misplaced. Personally, I find it outrageous. Needless to say we are faced with a bunch of 'educated' idiots that know nothing about appropriately selecting people for the job. They would do well to hire some of the intelligent and experienced –albeit high school graduates– to save their butt. Oh well, they can go to hell.

I feel that the government is using college as a tool to make more money. Obviously they have no care whether or not the students succeed in the field they aquired; but would rather have them work in a field not of their preference. It's obsurd an inhumane to see the outpour of college graduates desperate to work anywhere that's hiring. It used tobe a time when college graduates braggged on getting that degree and fighting for the next great position; now, all they do is fight for the next open position. It's a shame that our country is discretely degrading and the Government keep all the information confidential, I mean; instead of them lying to the graduated or soon to graduate college students about the job market increasing, they should inform them about how deprivating it's truly becoming. From companies being outsourced to all the banks closing, how is it anyway possible for the students to have any hope in our so called "Great America". I know one thing, if this continues incline in thjis fashion; many high-school graduates will not look at college as a source for success, they'll began to look at it as just more schooling and more bills. I believe the Government has most of the answers to the problems, but instead they'll rather conceal them. Other countries are surpassing us on an eductional level, due to the fact that Americans are not taking college serious and is causing a downshift percentage wise in this country. In the 1920's , just to have a 3rd grade education promised an individual work, now a PH.D is not even enough to bring home decent pay. Certain positions and occupations need schooling; such as Lawyers, Doctors, and Engineers, but if they're not making any money in those fields, there will be a downshift in those majors as well. This country was founded on building higher grounds for Education and religion, that's why it was well established. But eventually, all of that will be thrown away because of this Country's greed and terrorism towards itself. I sometimes feel that college is a waste of time because there will be no jobs for me when "I" graduate; but, I'm finishing school to be a role model for the generation behind me. If this country doesn't shape up soon, the school system will be a failing system. There are already lots of students complaining that what they learn in school has nothing to do with what's happening in the real world. Schools should be a tool to teach kids how to function in the real world instead of being an organizion that focuses on distributing has been material in class. If a student wants to be a finance major, he/she should learn that as an incoming Freshman, instead of having to learn some uniformed pre-requisites that has nothing to do with nothing. These are issues the Government should try and focused on instead of keeping everything confidential and retaining the majority of the truth. In conclusion: use the money from the Govt. to help the schools that are in nee
