Gambling shoud be illegal, its an illusion. You have a 50/50 chance of winning that money. Many people lose and gambling will leave you with empty pockets. There are some who gamble responsibly, but others do not. Gambling leads to voilence, and debt owed to other gamblers. It is known to be an additction, it can ruin many things in you life, such as relationships. Dealing money illegally is wrong and can put you in deep trouble. I think the offices should get rid of it.

So March madness is a 'gateway' madness and could lead to harder, more dangerous madnesses.

I am a recovering compulsive gambler and have an on-line Newsletter, Women Helping Women, www.femalegamblers.info which has been on line for ten years and I published a book on my addiction and recovery. The book is being used by counselors for their clients to read and is being stocked on college and university library shelves for reference reading.

The book is, Gripped by Gambling and may be seen at this site: www.grippedbygambling.com . If you would be interested in reading the book, send me your address and I will mail you a complimentary copy. I have 18 years of recovery from gambling.

Sincerely,

Yeah ... and having sex could lead one to be a nimphomaniac. 99% of the readers of this article will NOT run into gambling problems. It just like anything other compulsive disorder where obsessive behavior becomes problematic to one's everyday life. I've played NCAA brackets for money for over 20 years and yet I take frequent business trips to Vegas and sit in disbelief watching people throw their money away.

Here's a clue. If you have a parquet bracket set up in your home ... you're a little obsessive. Try getting a hobby, dude.
