On Monday, five Chinese ships came dangerously close to a U.S. Navy surveillance ship in waters off China's coast. Speaking before the Senate Armed Services committee yesterday, National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair referred to the incident as the worst harassment between the two countries in eight years.
