another bush apologist blaming the intelligence community and not the President who picked and chose who he listened to. The convicted bank robber waiting to run Iraq? Yes we'll listen to him. The UN weapons inspectors? No. I have never seen such a re-write on history to protect an American president and his team.

It should be known that there were many lies and forgeries surrounding Iraq. Uranium from Niger? Didnt happen. Saddam linked with 9-11 terrorists? Didnt happen. Bush wasnt going to squander not being a war president and he got his wish. His father has to be royally embarrassed to say the least. Thanks W!

President Bush went with the intel he was given and based his decision on the wisdom of those advising him. Sure the post-war planning was a mess but they eventually got it right.

I think the judgment on Iraq is still to come, in 20 years if Iraq is a peaceful country that is apart of the world community and leading the middle-east in the right direction then it was the correct decision, but if they go back to the policies of the past and act as a destabilizing force in the region then it would prove to have been the wrong decision.

Now the big question is how does President Obama plan to handle Iraq in the future?
