Goodbye, George W. Bush, Talk on Israel and Gaza, and Obama's Economy

Oh to be young and so profound!

I woke up when I was 12 to see L.A.'s Watts suburb burning in 1964.

Then at 20 to assist in the evacuation of Saigon.

At 30 I experienced the Savings and Loan Crisis and the demise of the Savings and Loan.

At 38 I married and at 40 had my wonderful little girl!

At 50, the cold war was over.

Now? Well, I get to listen to everyone say "Woe are we, the oppressed" Oh great one save us all from tyranny.

Its is actually like a great comedy to read the troubled lives of a spoiled generation. A tragedy to know they are going to have to experience real oppression and possibly great struggle before they know to give thanks for what they have in the palm of their hands.
