U.S. Population, 2009: 305 Million and Counting

The Government ESTIMATES that there is currently over 11.5 MILLION Illegal Immigrants living in our country. Think about that for a minute. That is their ESTIMATE. We are the ONLY country that rewards people for being here illegally. They get free schooling, medical, dental, Lobbyists in Washington helping their cause, food stamps, etc. A family friend of ours and his family were nearly killed by a drunk Illegal Immigrant. And the drunk driver was trying to flee the scene as well. Our friend had no legal rights against this Illegal Immigrant and he was forced to settle with His insurance company and his car was not replaced either. You may want to check with your insurance company about your coverage. The person was "Deported". Gee, how long before he makes it back into the country? There are an awful lot of AMERICAN citizens that could use the programs that the illegal immigrants are taking and to top it off, we as taxpayers foot the bill.

Can't see why or how a sensible census can be reached when illegal immigrants are streaming in every second, hidding when they get here, work under the table, and send their money out of the country.

I received a very interesting email from a friend who is concerned, as I am, about the outrageous spending of our tax dollars in Washington and the Democrats/Obama Administration's idealistic, unrealistic and expensive "health care reform" entitlement bill that they are trying to pass into law before the Republicans take over in November 2010 and put a stop to it. This email is about the demise of Argentina; a once prosperous country up until the early 20th century. It was approximately 1913 when the "progressive/socialist" movement took hold of Argentina's government. According to Marxist rule, "socialism" is the first step to communism and dictatorship and that is exactly what slowly happened in Argentina over the following years.

The reason for the demise of this once great country is exactly what is going on in the U.S. today. Irresponsible government spending and borrowing that has increased our national debt to the point that, just the interest alone on that debt is 600 billion dollars a day and consumes $.43 on every dollar. Government entitlement programs that our country can not afford, expansion of government, corruption and waste! AND the unions, whose leaders are nothing but legal extortionist, lining their own pockets with their members dues and in return they force corporations and small businesses, their members employers, to give pay increases and benefits that many of these businesses can not sustain and they go bankrupt leaving their union members out of a job. Perfect example of this is the United Auto Workers Union.

The Argentine government used the same tax and spend method that the Obama Liberal/Progressive Democrats are using here now and every European Socialist/Communist government is using as well. They overspent, then overtaxed their citizens and businesses to the point that the wealthy and businesses (jobs) started to move out of the country, leaving the average citizen who did have a job but could not move, to pay the taxes that their expanded, irresponsible government continued to impose on them to make up the difference. Eventually their standard of living plummeted because too much of their income went to pay taxes. THAT my friends is exactly what is going to happen to us if we don't stop what's going on in Washington today!

I suggest that anyone who is saying to themselves "this could never happen in the United States", wake up and get involved as I have in the past year! Join the "Tea Party" movement. Insist on responsible, common sense government. We have to realize that we taxpayers can not save every person in this country who is sick, poor, uneducated or in our country illegally. Not at the expense of our quality of life and our children's quality of life.

Argentina's citizens today, are still trying to dig themselves out of the mess that was created and permitted to happen during their grandparents and parents day. The children are now paying the price.
