I like to have children because it feels really good making them. It's good to go inside.

Our pop grown here in the US is a tiny fraction, overall, and discounting immigration would be in decline by now. The issue with global population remains poor education, poverty, lack of varying forms of social security, higher child mortality rates, etc, which combine to essentially REQUIRING large pools of children to make ends meet, ensure some survive long enough to take care of their parents as they get old, et cetera, women who have no choice in the matter, and so on. If you want to really curb or even redact growth, it has to be through education and the betterment of people's lives so that they can feel secure in having few children. Assigning blame is just going to put people on the defensive.

Thank you Ken of AZ and Sally Joe Smith of Ohio. As for James G of CA and Tasunka Witco of CA you need to go back to school and learn to spell. In 2007, 1.7 million, or 40 percent, of all births were from those who were not married, during the worst economic times compared to the 'great depression'. Racial and ethnic differences remain large: 28 percent of white babies were born to unmarried mothers in 2007, compared to 51 percent of Hispanic babies. Now, who do you think will pay for these unmarried mothers housing, baby food, child care, education, clothing, health insurance, car insurance, renters insurance, life insurance, home insurance. 401K's,529B's, public assistance, welfare, social security(those illegal immigrants who buy SSN's for $200.00 using deceased Americans SSN's and do not pay into the Social Security and will demand SSI when they get old and the list goes on and on. I will tell you who will pick up the expenses. Local, state, and federal government will pick up the tab directly from the taxpayers pockets. There are 12 million ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who crawled over the wall, and walked through areas not walled and simply BROKE THE LAW. In conclusion, they get no empathy from me and I do not support amnesty!!!! Americans should not discriminate against the rest of the world and cater to Central America Illegal Immigrants only.

Personally if I were planning on moving to a foreign country I would consider learning the "majority" language within that countries borders. However, if I were a native of that country and only spoke the common language but I could clearly see a need and a value of learning probably the next language that the highest population would speak.

I don't see how that is unreasonable, for both sides to make an effort to change. It is the logical action that must be taken to make communication easier and take away one of the many differences that put "us" and "them" labels each other.

Oh and btw this is an "english speaking country" because we committed atrocities to TAKE the land away from the native Americans, you know, those brown people. Before the settlers arrived the natives of my state spoke:

Catawba

Cherokee

Creek

Saponi

Tuscarora

Where are they all now? Oh riiiiiggghhht we killed all but a tiny fraction.
