PA School books are a great problem. Please go to this web site and check out some fact. PA have been in control of the contents for a long while. The EU at times has threatened to stop money for them ( but this only occurred after the facts were brought to their attention. They were actually supposed to check the contents before printing, but admitted they never did so. Google searches are good but you still have to check out web site bias where ever you go)

An old adage is 'measure twice - cut once' Apply this to all searches, make sure of the facts before committing to believing them.

Those who are for opening the border between Gaza and Israel...are you crazy or just stupid? Those borders are closed for a reason, being that in addition to allowing thousands of Gazans & West bankers in to work in Israel, they unwittingly allowed in Suicide bombers. Why is Israel the only country in the world forced to open their borders to anybody, much less those intent on murder? What about the other border? The Egyptian border. Easy to forget about that when criticizing Israel, no? Egypt has NO desire to open it's borders with Gaza. Why not let their Arab Muslim brothers open their border? Because Egypt would have to prevent weaponry from entering Gaza, and they want NO part of that.

How about the US gives equal $ and weaponry support to Hamas. Then they could train their kids to fire cannons and drive tanks - just like the Israeli kids.

Your Dec editoriaL has a "byline" and picture of Harold Evans and yet the last paragraph states "It is distrurbing to me as a mother, it is disturbing to me as a United States senator ............." Harold Evans neither looks or writes as a woman. What's the deal?

This is pure propaganda by someone hiding behind another name!

What about the 1,000 plus Palestinians killed at the end of George Bush's presidency and the pull out of Gaza before our new US president took office? Seems to send a message !!

Many do not condone the acts of Hamas, but the massive offensive was pure "murder"! Please be fair!!!!!!

The so called Palestinians have no intention of recognizing Israel as a Jewish Land. It's time for the world to realize that we can't pacify people who hate us. No one should be forced to put up with an enemy within their land. No one want war but when one is attacked retaliation is necessary.

That is what has continued to be pounded into the minds of the children and adults in Muslim countries. The facts are simple: Israel AND Jordan were made by the United Nations to build two counties, one Jewish and one Muslim. The Emir of what was then Transjordan refused to taken in any of the 720,000 Muslims that left when Israel was made a state. They and other Muslim countries said "no, they must go into refugee camps". That is a hard fact. Israel, on the other hand, took in 800,000 Jews that were forced out of their homelands in Egypt, Iraq, etc after the formation of the state of Israel. Stop confusing historical facts with fiction. When the "Palestinians" stop teaching and expounding hate, when they accept a two state solution and, most importantly, accept the right of Israel to exit, there will be peace. There will be no returning to pre-Israel borders. Stop wasting your time and energies on bringing back the past. Look to a real future with a real country. Teach your children to build a future that includes math, science and philosophy and not martyrdom.

A small child witnessing the murder or maiming of family members and friends during the violent onslaught on Gaza will develop a deep and abiding hatred and desire for revenge without prompting from anybody.

Maybe if bombs and rockets weren't so noisy and distracting we could actually hear and understand what Hamas has to say.... That is if they have anything in their minds except blind hate.

Israel is here to stay the poor Palestinians could be prosperous and living in harmony next to Israel, its the Extreme Islam o facist leadership that wants to keep them down, to sacrifice themselves for the cause that they themselves dare not to..This needs to be the end game and then lasting peace not world leaders wanting a false peace..The rockets need to stop flying and then the F 16's would never visit again..Its the Hamas leadership that brings disaster on its people..And the same need to be brought down..
