I voted for the idiot twice and REGRET voting either time. He is extremely arrogant and should be removed from office immediately.

Just wait, this will all go away. Our idiot gov. will remain

in office. They have delibertly put him on the back burner.

After the Obama Mama gets in office, he will be forgotton.

If something hasnt been done by now, nothing will happen.

Its just another thing for the news media to cover until

something more exciting happens. Just wait, he WILL remain in

office.

Rod is an arrogant, deceitful, pompous crook who deserves to spend many years behind bars. As a citizen of the State of Illinois, I am embarrassed by him. He has crippled this state. I hope the federal government has a solid case against him, and I hope the government moves expeditiously to rid the state of this scum. And while they are at it, I hope they take down other crooked politicians with him. Illinois politics are ripe with corruption.

We're condemning third world countries corrupt leaders. We even don't know that we have one in our backyard. What a shame.

If all the crooks in our government were impeached or fired, we'd have to start all over again in order to find honest people to work for the people, of the people, and by the people. Like many Americans, I trust no one in our Government. It seem's everyone is there to line their own pockets, and do for themselves at taxpayers expense. They have all of the best perks like retirement after one term, free health care(the best), and it seems most of them leave as millionairs. How can that be with the salary they draw, and the cost of living. The power and privilege they throw around as if they are better than the folks they work for. They want all correspondence to them addressed to Honorable so and so. Where's the honor? That's something that has to be worked for, not demand! I think our Government is being run as a mafia organization. The government borrowed money from the social security, and left I O U's. Now, the system is running out of money, and time before going broke. With the type of politicians we have , the social security system will never be fixed the way it was intended. I could go on, but justice should begin with the impeachment of the governor, then work up.

yes isn't it ironic he's supposed to be enforcing the law and he disobeys them. He would be a hypocrite if he doesn't resign besides they can find someone way better than him...

This "scandal" broke the DAY AFTER Blagojevich fought back against Bank of America (BOA).

This is what he gets for messing with BOA. So far, I haven't seen any evidence that he did ANYTHING illegal. The GOP is still FAR WORSE, but they seem to get away with everything.

Quoting DR of WI "he must be imprisoned to show other corrupt officials that this will happen to them, also." - It'll be justice as soon as this happens to most of the Bush Administration; until then it's just business (as usual).

Burt B. of CO 2:18PM December 18, 2008

He should be prosecuted in federal court and tried by the state Senate to determine if he is guilty. If found guilty, he must be imprisoned to show other corrupt officials that this will happen to them, also.

DR of WI 1:57PM December 18, 2008

All I can say is: Impeach....

He took an action which brought the position of Senator to the lowest level ever. How dare he do that! He also needs to be put on trial for persuing an action which he would have profited from instead of doing the honourable thing.
