The Blagojevich Question: How Much Would You Pay for a Senate Seat?

December 10, 2008 RSS Feed Print

Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich conspired to sell or trade President-elect Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat, according to a 76-page FBI affidavit. The affidavit states that Blagojevich discussed milking the seat for money from nonprofits or pro-labor organizations or even an ambassadorship after he left office—in addition to attempting to get his wife $150,000. "I want to make money," the FBI investigators recorded him saying. How much would you pay for a U.S. senate seat? Post your thoughts.

I wouldn't pay a thing for a senate seat because that would be immoral, unethical, and against the Bible, not to mention illegal.
