Despite the passage of Proposition 8, national support for gay marriage is increasing

  • $83 million : Amount spent on Proposition 8 advertising in California's November election
  • 2 in 10: Americans 65 and older who support gay-marriage rights
  • 1 in 2: Americans ages 18 to 34 who support gay-marriage rights
  • 18,000: Number of same-sex couples married in California between June and November of this year

I think that everyone should share the same marriage rights regardless of their genders. I'm totally in favor of unions.
