I have taken a "Just the facts, ma'am" Jack Webb approach to all shopping as I haven't a clue about my financial stability any longer. My 401k plans are questionable, my bank is running on bailout money, I'm avoiding certain foods since nobody can tell me cheap Chinese milk products are used only for pet food and baby formula, my household products are being downsized to where I'm unsure how to make out my grocery list, my prescription drugs are facing shortages and I can't find the same product twice in a row when I shop as they are changing inventory constantly. Thus, my holiday shopping will consist of hitting the Walmart website, ordering for family & friends, having it shipped to their door and sending an email after delivery confirmation is received. Somehow this year the joy of shopping and the holidays was exemplified best by the maniacs who trampled and killed the Walmart employee in New York and are now blaming it on Walmart for not being prepared??? Next year, I guess they'll have riot squads at all Walmarts to control the animals...er customers!!! Until next year, just the basics or the facts ma'am!!!
