  • 41.6 million: Thanksgiving travelers in 2007
  • 7.2 percent: Decrease in the number of people traveling by airplane compared with 2007
  • 5.8 percent: Increase in the number of people traveling by train or bus or other mode (besides car or plane) compared with 2007
  • 8 percent: Expected increase in Thanksgiving airfares this year
