Sarah has over 60% of Republicans and conservatives support. That's more than enough to get the GOP nomination. Her closest competitor is Mitt Romney with only 30%. No woman in US political history has had this enthusuastic support. Hillary Clinton only had 53% of her party's support during her entire political career. Sarah Palin is young, attractive, articulate, with executive, command and business experience. She has a great love for her country. She would be the first woman and firt Generation X president. The best attributes of Sarah are her youth, the fact that she has achieved success by herself, not because a famous or powerful male relative, her appeal to ordinary Americans who don't go to famous schools or get PhDs from Harvard, but who work hard to make a change for their families and communities.

Sarah Palin is with no doubts the Female Reagan!

America will be proud of having this young woman as president. A Christian who is not ashamed to call Jesus her Lord.

Hillary Clinton had her chance, but even women rejected her for a half Kenyan male candidate. Hillary never had the overwhelming support and enthusiastic appeal Sarah has. Sarah does not has baggage, scandals, political drama or scary associations. She is a 100% American woman without an ounce of foreign blood in her veins.

In 2012, this lady will make the biggest news in US history when she becomes the first female presidential nominee and the first female elected president of the United States of America!

What country youre from Frank Micciche? You sickened me! I see you dont respect women. And you dont talk for young people and your opinion is your opion and no one else. Look,Americans are not stupid. Tina Feyke and Sarah Palin common' young people could tell the difference ok. Sarah Palin is a star and no matter how toxic the poison youre spewing around its not going to work! People who hates Sarah loves this article you wrote and thanks to you pal. Why dont you start writing something about how the incoming administration will handle the economy or something. Stop this crappp. Enough already, Election is so over more than two weeks ago. Hey anybody can run for President in this country as long as your 35 yrs and U.S citizen. Speaking of experience hmmm Sarah has the executive experience ok you know that. Sarah is going to run for President in 2012 because the americans dictates. Sarah of Alaska is going to be the First Female President of the United States of America! 2012 here it comes.

This article was so sexist, it was nauseating. The writer obviously has a bias against women being out of the home and away from her kids. He says nothing about Obama being less of a father because he will have to spend many days and months being away from his kids trying to solve the problems he faces. He will not be working a simple 8 hour day and then go home to the wife and kids each day. But I guess that is okay since he is a man and the wife is home taking care of the kids. Kids need a father too.

In the election she kowtowed to the McCain campaign advisers. Is this the way a maverick with strong leadership skills acts? Or does she talk directly to the boss, as most good leaders would, and get the advisors back in line. If she can't handle some temporary advisors, how can she lead and work with other world leaders or the legislative and judicial branches? Think about it. Nothing but sound bites and conservative canned responses, and when those weren't fed to her, and she was on her own, cutesy cliches and stalling. Strong leadership skills are not evident in Gov. Palin. When given the chance to demonstrate them during the campaign, she did not. Not ready now, nor in 4 more years. Maybe never.

By the way, McCain has the same problem. Time for him to finish his term and come home.

Although I like Palin there is another GOP Governor I like more. He is the governor of Louisiana. He has a record as a reformer in a state where reform is notorious for being impossible. Governor Jindal also gives the GOP help by being a minority candidate. But what makes him the best candidate is he has new conservative solutions to today's issues.

Hugh Haynsworth of SC 4:32PM November 18, 2008

If Palin is the leader, the Republicans have no hope at all.

You will see at least a dozen others eclipse Sarah in the run for 2012. Jindal and Huckabee for sure and a bunch you haven't heard of yet.

Maybe in her lifetime, but not 2012 or anytime soon. Alaska has less than 700,000 people, and the major employer is the federal government. Less than 270,000 people voted in this last election. She was elected mayor in a very small town with less than 2000 people voting and was not responsible for schools or a police department which are normally the biggest part of a municipal government. These services were provided by the county. She is now a governor in a state that doesn't worry about taxes because of large royalties from oil and natural gas resources. So much for experience. Education, who knows. A journalist? Doubtful. Not ready now, no way, no how. In 4 years? Very doubtful.

The Economist, that English magazine that is so opinionated, yet so often right, damn them, recently published an article showing how the Republican party was lining up as the new Dumb Party. They pointed out that the base of the party was the unquestioning Christian fundamentalists and know-nothing racists, the very people who have been most victimized by their lack of education and stupidity in this current economic disaster engineered by their own party, and their own President.

They will have four years to wake up and re-evaluate.

Now it could be that in the next four years, the whole of America will dumb down with them, but I don't think so. Likely, they are going to smarten up.

I don't think Barack Obama is any kind of messiah, but then, he will look like one if he follows what is doubtless the most incompetent President in history, GWB, with anything approaching competence.

Meanwhile, I am investing in China. I predict that the Chinese will buy one of the US auto companies within 24 months, and we will see a wave of new, smaller, less expensive but very well built cars arriving in America and Europe from China in that time.

Cheers, America! We are truly globalizing!

This snippet of trash only reinforces the fact that the media has decided that the american people are fools and lackies and can be controlled by any lie they choose to sponsor.

Fred of LA 8:28AM November 18, 2008

Palin may not run for president in 2012, but one of the big reasons might be Obama. If he's successful, it would be a suicide run. If he's unsuccessful, people will be looking for anything that is not 'young and charismatic'. Palin has a proven record, but even that might not be enough in such a case.

The reasons listed in the article, such as the fact that she's an outsider, or had been ridiculed to death by the media, might be good reasons, but it's really sad that this is what's going to decide for us who's the next president.

All this discussion about 2012, though, is ridiculous. Nobody knows what will really worry Americans then.
