What a stupid article; food for sheep and parrots. Where's the rest of the story? Surely, the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has compiled statistics on groups other than members of the current administration. How do these statistics compare to previous administrations? How many members of Congress, traveling back to their district on the public's dime, have stopped along the way to endorse a candidate?

By the way, I only think a person hates America when he says he does or when he continually finds fault without recognizing it's virtues. And, yes, if you believe that's okay for the government to forcably take property (tax dollars collected under penalty of imprisonment for non-compliance) from one who has earned/produced only to give it (redistribute it through "tax cuts" to those who pay no tax) to another who is able, but did not earn/produce, for the benefit of society as a whole, then make no mistake, you are a socialist/communist. Social Security taxes are a different animal...as with an annuity, social security taxes require us to pay a premium for a future benefit. The higher the premium, the higher the benefit and vice versa. Here's the catch: no premium (refunded through federal income tax "cuts"), no benefit; unlimited premium, unlimited benefit.

And, ACORN is not accountable to the public, yet they are funded in part by our tax dollars in their activities to subvert the very electoral system we use to limit uncheck political power. How is that similar to taxpayer funded travel?

Why would this or anything else surprise anyone at this point. Tax dollars being misused from an administration that believes trampling on the constitution is their god given right and if you dare disagree you are unpatriotic, you hate america and oh yeah the new one you are a socialist/communist

Sounds similar to Taxpayer $ funding of ACORN!

This would be informative if we could compare the statistics of previous U.S. presidents.
