12 percent : Previous low point of American satisfaction, in the midst of rising inflation and gas shortages during Jimmy Carter's presidency

14 percent : Satisfaction level in 1992 during George H. W. Bush's administration

69 percent : Americans who listed "Net economic problems" as the most important problem facing the country today

only 9% of americans are satisfied with the way things are going in US. Why are still 41% voting for McCain?
