I dont see how you think you can blame the economic problems on bush. for some reason democrats cant seem to figure out that when somthing is done economically, the system is set up to where we wont feel the effects of it for 8-12 years. and sry but where still feeling clintons administrations of lets raise taxes and give people that dont work a house for free. wtf!! seriously. i dont earn my money to go to some bum that doesnt do a dam.n thing for this country. im not saying bush has done everything right because he hasnt but he did do a good job of putting money back into the middleclass. so the middle class can afford to servive. economically theres no way obama could do anything but hurt the economy with what he wants to do. it may seem all good at first but youll feel it eventually!! rough times will come.

During the presidential debate Senator Biden proved his knowledge of all issues that directly affect the american people. He exemplified himself as a studious and compassionate individual who has this country's best interest in mind. It is obvious (even to those who do not want to admit) that he and Obama are the only choices that we have for getting this country back on track. On the other hand Sarah Palin was an embarassment to women, republicans and mankind. Anyone who would vote for someone as tasteless and tactless as she, must want this country to come to its demise.. She beleives that her femininity will get her wherever she is trying to go. I am afraid to ihink where this may be. She is no comparison to Hilary Clinton. There has never been a female candidate who has every ran or held a political office that displayed themselves as she has. She does not have a clue as to what the office of vice president entails. She wants to rewrite the constitution so that she can have more duties. Senator Biden had to give her a breakdown of the VP's duties. She has no knowledge on any political affairs, let alone foreign affairs. McCain has trained her well. She is a great liar just like himself. I give her credit for one thing. She had the courage to get on stage and not have a clue as to what she was talking about. She chose to change the subject on most of the questions because she had no answer. Winking, sending shout outs and using such slang as "darn right" and "say it isn't so Joe", simply proves how uneducated and unprofessional she truly is. She tries so hard to be cute. This is not the time nor place for wittiness and cuteness. Ms. Palin needs to stick to drinking, drugging and being a hockey mom. The only VP nominatioh that she could possibly be qualified for is the PTA. McCain did prove one good thing by choosing her as VP. He proved that it is possible for anyone to run for the second highest office in this country. The only problem with that is this country is in too bad of a shape to play presidency with someone like Sarah Palin. Come on america it is time to put all of your prejudices aside along with any other hang-ups you may have and make an intelligent vote. Obama and Biden all the way to the White House!

What are the characteristics of a good leader. Reference Zimmerman Lehman (2007), it is ability to motivate others to do something; it is the ability to persuade others to believe or act a certain way. Leadership is a style of patterned behaviors when one is trying to influence the behavior of others.

Is Barack Obama an effective leader? He claims, America needs change. Barack Obama is a sure change; he will change this world upside-down. His idea is no different from the concept of Social Darwinism—an application of the theory of natural selection pertaining to social, political, and economic issues. It is from the concept of "the strong survive;" only, their concept is “only the very educated can be leaders; others are followers.” Obama is creating his own version of the Darwinism theory. If he believes in women as leaders, he must see Biden as a woman.

Sarah Palin stresses that America needs real American leaders to promote the right change. We need leaders who are Americans in heart and mind; we need leaders who really care about the American people. McCain’s history proves his leadership and his American dedication. Palin proves to be an effective leader and dedicated to her task as the Governor for Alaska; she will do the same for America as the Vice President. For the 2008 presidential election, we need McCain and Palin together to take over and lead America to change for the better and to win over communism. Together, they will effectively and intrepidly work for the American people. United States stands for the true Americans in heart and spirit.

Here comes the negative. Miss "christian" doesn't care how many lies she tells. Push polling has started. The republicans are desperate. I do not believe that this country will let the republicans anywhere near the whitehouse. Bush ruined our country in the first 4 years, and ruined the world in the next 4. Shame on the republicans for campaigning for him in 2004 when they knew he stunk. They waited til he was reelected to admit it. I hope obama doesn't let his guard down, they will do anything to win. Yes we MUST enough is enough!!!!!

Since 99 percent of Elected officials are lawyers or attorneys, lets just ban ordinary citizens from any office since the usual comments are we are not qualified.

Hard to predict what Palin would be like as president, unlike the others. Obama is a change from Bush, but not from the old time liberal policies abandoned by the public thirty years ago for failure to perform.

So if you want change, Palin is the only possibility. Good judgement and good counselors are more important than experience sometimes. Bush is a very bright guy, but he surrounded himself with neocons and cronies, not to forget the accomplishment-challenged affirmative action secretary of state, and seems to lack an objective perspective of the world.

How are so many American's fooling themselves into thinking Palin will help this country? I am baffled. Biden and Palin are on completely different levels. Whether or not Palin has "been at this" for "5 weeks" or not, does not matter! She is a VP candidate, no excuses! Learning on the job maybe OK for a waitress at a new restaurant, but let's leave that method out of Washington!

I felt Palin could not answer any of the questions she certainly could not tell the people how McCain plan would be different from President Bush plan.

My wife and I watched the debate together last night. She went through various stages of anger, disgust and embarrassment. As a woman she was extremely angry at Governor Palin's attempts to use the fact that she's a woman and a mother to get votes. She said women try extremely hard to get across the fact that being a woman, mother, etc. DOESN'T MATTER when it comes to business, politics, etc.

She seems to be trying to reach the bottom of the beer keg. Wink wink....Gee weren't those winks cute...didn't add a lot to the substance of the debate or show the detail of one single program. All she seems to have are polemical glittering generalities (though I doubt seriously she would understand the meaning of the word... and doesn't that fit the same suit of clothes as our current chief executive !!!) like less government is better...oh, except when us middle classers have to bail out the fat cats who with the weak limits on golden parachutes will undoubtedly still try to float to the ground through the Republican sponsored loopholes. Does she even have a vague idea what I'm talking about?
