Sarah Palin, is so dumb she said last nite that the VP will be over the Senate Party. Gee what would we do if she became the President if John McCain cancer patient die.

I have an idea for the republican party ...After Sen. Clinton loses the nomination to Obama, let's just nominate any female, regardless of views and previous experience, to try and collect the white, female votes from the democrats. YAY! oh wait... Silly republicans...honestly I thought John McCain died years ago (along with his beliefs and political views)...or at least he looks like he did.

Let's give her the benefit of the doubt.....first interview, and Charlie Gibson was laying land mines all over the place. Even if she gave the typical politician's answer, he pushed it, and attempted to make her come across as inexperienced. Show me an interview with Obama, Biden, or even McCain that when asked an "on the spot" question, there is no hesitation in the answer to go beyond either a yes or no response. The comment about the United States not being at war with Iraq holds no water, since the Bush administrations whole doctrine singles out that event as the reason to invade Iraq in the first place. So, if you consider the attacks of 9/11 a declaration of war, then techinally, we were at war with Iraq that day, considering the basis for the invasion. The only mistake really made was her answer regarding meeting heads of state, and even that is questionable. Although it has been 32 years since a VP met a head of state, what conversation has actually taken place between potential heads of states and potential VP's? Was it a discussion of foreign policy, or just friendly exchanges of words to promit diplomacy. Ridiculous. Face the facts that there is inexperience on both sides of the aisle, and quit being hyprocritical towards only one inexperienced candidate.

Any psychopath losing extremist piece of crap conspiring to kill Americans anywhere that I found out about would be dead within hours. The country they are hiding in would deal with it or I would deal with it.

That's my doctrine.

That's right, we weren't at war in Iraq since Sept. 11, 2001.

you know what else? Even though not a single person (except Bill Clinton (who was later vilified for it) has challenged Obama's implication that he voted against the war in Iraq, OBAMA WAS NOT A U.S. SENATOR WHEN THE IRAQ VOTE WAS TAKEN. He was still voting "present" in the Illinois senate. So this blatant lie that he voted against the Iraq war is just absurd. Perhaps we should focus on the background of the person running for President, not the VP candidate....

Another attempt to dismiss faults of the Bush administration by blaming Clinton (8 yrs of this, and still trying...). Get educated, MA @ 10:48, the fact is that the WTC bombers in Clinton's day were arrested within a year and tried within 3 years. I know conservatives don't let facts get in the way of their argument, but the rest of us live in a world where reason counts for something. And by now, even George W. Bush has admitted that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Palin is simply ignorant, but she got that way by listening to the delussions of neo-cons, just like W.

James of NC 11:37AM September 12, 2008

Yes, we know that but the war in Iraq and against terrorism is a direct result of 9/11, lest the democrats forget this little fact. Bec of Clinton's refusal to act on any of the evidence about terrorism presented to him and his administration, we lost lives and a vital part of the US when the twin towers were destroyed. The US did not act when bombs exploded in the twin towers' parking garage, nor did we act when a bomb went off next to our ship when it was docked....all this occurred under the "non reactive" Clinton administration.
