Personally I wouldn't want her spreading the Anti-American, Pro-Racism, Obama adoration that she has been spewing. After all she thinks that we are "just plain mean". Why do you people support a woman who hates you? I'll never understand that. Do you guys really hate yourselves that much???

As an educated career/family oriented woman I have not in the least bit been swayed to the Republican Party with McCain announcing Sarah Palin to be his vice presidential running mate. If anything with her lack of political experience is a deterrent for undecided voters to have any faith that she would be able to represent this nation at such a high-level of political power. McCain's and Palin's speech today was very unimpressive and lacked substance pertaining to the current economic strife within the U.S. and the massive issues pertaining to Foreign policies, and Energy Issues. After researching information about her as a woman I am appalled that Palin was what seems to be chosen simply because she was a woman and because of a few other issues at an attempt to sway woman voters and more Christian voters. There were many more highly qualified Republican candidates that have earned the right to have been chosen for such a responsible position. All this has done is turn voters from the Republican Party and be ashamed that in this day and age a woman was chosen based upon her looks and not her experience. The women's movement has just been set back again which is a shame. Hillary Clinton, Jennifer Granholm, Condoleezza Rice, Nancy Pelosi, Sandra Day O'Connor are a step forward for women and have proven their leadership skills and earned their place in history. Palin is at the infant stages of becoming a successful high-powered political figure. When her son serves in a combat zone in Iraq or Afghanistan than she can tell me what it feels like to have a son in the military. When she gives up her career to raise her five children, especially one with Down Syndrome than she can tell me what it is like to be a mother whose family comes first. As a career woman in order to climb the ladder of success there are consequences and one of them is the sacrifice your family has to make for your success. Michelle Obama's speech was very impressive and was more substantial in meaning than anything Palin had attempted to portray to the American people. Palin is not a safe choice for such a high ranking political position in America at this point in her career. Maybe in the future when she gains additional political experience, faces really tough issues, makes very critical decisions within our society and with foreign affairs, respects woman's rights and especially the right to choose, she will be in a better position to be in a political race of this highly important nature.
