McCain has become a serial liar

of AZ 7:59PM September 15, 2008

Dear Senators Obama and McCain,

As I pointed out on a recent blog post called, John McCain and Barak Obama’s Advertising Hell, (http://tinyurl.com/5ah3cv) we want to hear you address the concerns of the American people.

I'm a small business owner. I feel all of us with the courage to run a small business today need answers from you. We don't care about what homes you own or how you got them. We care about how you're going to propose to get this country strong again and keep us there.

How will you inspire more people to open small businesses? As was the case 100-years ago, today, entrepreneurs with ideas and the courage to bring them to market are the future of the American economy.

Please tell me how you'll help us survive and thrive under your administrations? Tell me facts of what you’ll really do instead of spitting platitudes at me, please! I really want to believe in one of you and so far I do not.

McCain needs to keep on track by pounding out these two words on a regular basis: Surge and Drill, Surge and Drill, Surge and Drill. He is right about the surge, he is right about drilling and most people, almost eighty percent of us agree. The second thing he needs to do is to keep battering Obama on a debate challenge. No matter what the issues are in this campaign no red blooded American (black or white) likes a coward for a President. Every single time McCain challenges and Obama denies is an opportunity for the old man to climb in the polls. The beauty of this strategy is that I truly believe that Obama is an amateur and knows that he will lose the debate, his ideas do not stand up to scrutiny, they are socialist by nature. Obama does not want the steel cage death match with MCCain because the old man would tear him to pieces at every angle. He would dissect his every statement and it could possibly be one of the absolute ugliest yet entertaining debates in our country's history. I would love to see it. McCain can even go on the offensive by campaigning in states that Obama is not currently in instead of looking like the "me too!" kid on the playground. Obama in Germany, McCain at a German Restaurant, Obama in Florida, McCain in Florida too many times together it is starting to look too desperate and is bad strategy. McCain could go on the offensive in places like Minnesota, Wisconsin, Pennsylvannia, Virginia, New Mexico, North Carolina, heck even Obama's home state just to rub it in his face. Go to downtown Chicago, draw a line in the sand and challenge him man to man and insist on Oprah's time slot! McCain could also begin his presidency early by promoting legislation in the Senate that would force the hand of his opponent. Make Obama vote on drilling, taxes, health care, etc. although it is probably too late now after session has closed today. Anyway, I do think that a debate would be great news and would be productive to the fermentation of political thought in this country.

i dont think mc cain was comparing obama to brit. and paris for the reason they are insane. i think he was more going for the aspect that all you hear about in the news and on t.v constsntly was britney and paris every day it got old real quick. and now all you hear is obama, obama, obama. everyday in the news and on t.v. so just b/c you hear about him all the time does that mean he is the right one just b/c that is all you see. no one else is that popular on t.v right now. i think that is what his comparison meant. it had nothing to do with them being retarded.

Why would you permit such a silly and insulting ad to run on TV? I was shocked to see this juvenile ad that you are currently running. To compare a bright young Senator to a bubble head like Paris, or Britney, is foolish and insulting to the voters that see his value. It is insulting to the people who elected him into the Senate. But mostly it is insulting to you sir.

I was at a dinner with five friends and we had a lengthy debate about who we were going to vote for. Some of us were Senator Clinton's supporters, some were not. We are split on which aspects of each candidate we liked and disliked. You do have a respectable record and a longer career. Then the next day I saw this ad that was packed with cheap shots and very insulting imagery... I sent a blast out my girlfriends to see if they were equally offended. YES. All of us, felt not only it demeaning to Senator Obama, but more so to you Senator McCain. You did not act Presidential.

I can't imagine a time when this country more needed a President that was a class act, a person of their word, and a person who did not allow their desire to win ride over their principles. We need a person who is above a cheap shot.

You and your advisors have turned race into a slimey mud throwing dog & pony act. This was an act of desperation. Sadly, just about time we were all trying to listen to your economic plans, your foreign policy opinions, and your vision for this great country... your team choose to take the lowest of roads. Shame on you for using such poor judgment in the selection of your advisors. Shame on me for actually thinking you might be Presidential, and not just another white rich guy wanting power at any cost.

I loved the debates. And I loved seeing the welcome reception that a young black Senator got after the painful Bush years where American's felt hated by our European cousins. I strongly favored your position on Iraq, not to “win a war”, but I felt it was immoral to abandon the Iraqi people in their time of need after we crushed any civil order that they had in their daily lives. I think pulling the troops out would be tantamount to a war crime against the Iraqi people. I had hoped you would provide LEADERSHIP and help us create policy that saves our economy. But instead you choose to rip your opposition to shreds with lies, slander, and slick tricks. For me, these nasty and dumb ads simply told me who not to vote for. As Senator Obama said today... you sure are talking about him a lot, and you no longer deserve my vote.

I wish for this great country you could have stayed above that kind of thing. Throwing mud on one of the historic moments of democracy was stupid and short sighted. Sadly, it lost you an additional five votes from women who thought Senator Obama needed a bit more experience to cope with the massive problems our nation is facing. We had our concerns that you were the same song, second verse from the Bush era. But each of us were open to giving you a fair hearing.

Enjoy returning to the Senate. I will enjoy watching the historic moment of our first black president being signed in. I will enjoy seeing a strong black first lady sharing this post with her husband.

As a great patriot I would think you will look back at this low moment in your campaign and see when people are filled with hope for a better world a sourpuss should loose. A sourpuss with clouded vision or an aged brain can not show leadership or vision. You selected these advisors and their bad judgment lost you the Presidency of the United States of America. This will be a historic moment that you helped to create - congrats!

By reading these comments I realise how really the truth is far away from all of us. We are a great nation but with brainless thinkers. As a world champion of democratie, we don't have the basics of democratie, that give the same right to all citizen. Why attending rev Wright church should stop Obama from becoming the next president of USA? Why should Obama as metist, Black/White, do not have a right to be as black as he is write? What is wrong in making a point that he does not look like the president on $ bills? What make us so affraid of the change that we are fighting for all over the planet with other contries to accept it? Can we be honest and face the truth?

Can we stop to identify ourself as write or black contry and reclaiming america as a contry under God for liberty and justice for all?

Can we do just that?

Can somebody tell me the truth according to the truth?

Do we really want change? Russia wanted change and they got it. We claimed victory at the end of a war that never existed. They attempted to reform politically and economically. The end product is well "Cold War". If we allow Obama to change the things he says, he will cause this country to move it's money to Dubai/fall. lol.

bob of 4:35PM July 31, 2008

He did attend a raceist church where he sat under the teaching of Rev. Wright. When it got hot he denied association with them. He did attend an extreme musulim school as a child. He did write a book called 'From Audacity of Hope': " I will stand with the muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction". It seems as if Obama is allowed to show every red flag in the world to "US" "The United States Of America" and we are so hung up on Democratic or Republican, we can only pull for our own party. I don't particullary like any of them, but one thing I know is that I am not stupid as some who think he is what he says he is. Hey, isn't that what they done on the planes. We're just simple old passangers. Think about it.
