Public Opinion: John McCain's Complaints About Media Bias Toward Barack Obama

Have the media gone in the bag for Obama, or is McCain jealous of losing the affections of his "base"?

July 23, 2008 RSS Feed Print

Sen. John McCain's campaign launched a new Internet video lambasting the media for fawning over Sen. Barack Obama. Obama supporters say that McCain, who has in the past had such good relations with the media that he called them "my base," is jealous, if not trying to gin up a nonissue for political gain. Have the media fallen for Obama? Or is the McCain campaign off base? Post your thoughts below.

he should not be sworn in as president of the united states because he was elected only because of his race and that would be one of the biggest set backs to racial equality to date. anytime race is used to discrimanate or to promote something or someone it is racism. we can see that barack is using his race by how he is comparing himself to lincoln and to martin luther king. the president of the united states should not in any way be bias toward any race, creed, or religion this is why we call it the united states. so to end my thoughts i believe that barack obama is the biggest racist in the contry today.

Media that complains that McClellan should have blown the whistle treats every word that Obama says as from a Prophet.

The media dutifully reported Bush team's plans in the run up to the wars post 9/11 and Rumsfeld's briefings as pure logic.

This same media is now glossing over Obama's qualifications and argues FOR him when public opinion hits a snare.

Some in the "News" business admit their love affair with Obama and are happy to use the public airways as a voice for their own opinions.
