Obama-thon: The World Tour

How does Barack Obama sound? Strong (like the Republicans), say the libs. Like a surrender-and-spend liberal, say the cons, who add that he would be incurious and get Americans killed. (Wow, playing the blood-on-his-hands card in July.) With the Maliki pseudo-endorsement (or, strike "pseudo-endorsement" and replace with "confusing muddle"), is Obama now the national security candidate? Yes, yes, yes, say the liberals. And maybe. Does it matter who was wrong or right about the surge? Post your thoughts.

Love at first slight? McCain spurned—twice?

Reaction to the New York Times' rejection of John McCain's op-ed enters a second day. Is there a there there? No, no, no, say the liberals, it's just a bad op-ed. Or is it another case of the dread liberal media conspiracy taking down a conservative? Yes, yes, yes (and not just because of the Times), say the conservatives! Oh and look: A nuanced take. Meanwhile, the McCain campaign has released a new Web video blasting the media's googly eyes for Obama. Buzz supposes McCain would know the signs of media adoration pretty well. (Or as contented liberals might put it: Jealous much?) Maybe it's the fizzle gap.

I personally agree with the blogger, as I think that Barack Obama is the right and the deserving candidate for the new presidential post and also because I think that the americans have had enough of the republicans (George W. Bush), and I dont think that anyone would want to vote for the republicans, as they are the reason America is in such a mess. Therefore I think that, Obama who is considered a messiah is one person who should be elected as the president and given a chance to prove himself and take out America from the mess it currently is in and take it on the road to peace away from war and violence.

I'm sure that each and every citizen in Baghdad would have rather had the $4 Million given to them in CASH, instead of seeing $One Trillion Dollars in USA BOMBs dropped into the Iraqi desert SAND ! Modern Warfare is fought with Dollars, not BOMBS. We could have bought all of the Large Buildings, Banks, OIL companies, and Vital Industries and Utility companies in IRAQ for just a few Million Dollars. If you Financially control all of the Assets and Industry of a Country, you can virtually dictate everything that done in that country. Just look at how Japan bombed and failed to conquer Hawaii in 1941. Then they came back in 1995 and just bought all of the Assets on the Hawaiian Islands, for just a few Million Dollars. Bill Clinton, a Financial Genius, knew that WAR was Obsolete when he took office. He never would have gotton us involved in an 8 Year Land War in the Desert. He was much too smart for that. I really cannot blame George Bush for being possibly the dumbest person on Earth, but I can blaim the Democrats for not being able to Impeach BUSH over an 8 Year span. Now the Democrats want to control the USA, when they could not even Impeach BUSH, a very obvious stupid Republican President. While BUSH raped the American citizens, with this $5 Dollar GAS, he made his OIL Buddies RICH !

At one time I was tempted to vote for McCain. But unfortunately he has become enslaved by the man he is trying to escape (Bush). Thanks to his own finance law, there is no more soft money allowed by presidential candidates. So now he has to play the shut-your-mouth-but-open-your-wallet-game while still presenting himself as a maverick. But unfortunately, even after having been crowned the presumptive Republican nominee months before the Democratic nominee, he still hasn't been able to form a formidable grassroots fundraising machine. I'm starting to think that he really is being bankrolled by millionaires, or that all his supporters are dying off.

It is beautifully ironic that Republicans now have found a free-market system they didn't like--Obama's internet fundraising, and the media's supposed propensity to follow a guy who just seems to connect with people. The media follows what people want to read and talk about. It's not Obama's fault that McCain has all the pizazz of a Wal-Mart greeter.
