President Bush will be fundraising with Sen. John McCain on Tuesday evening, but the McCain campaign is minimizing the amount of time the two appear together in front of television cameras. How should McCain handle Bush through the election? Post your thoughts below.

McCain should be honest. He should not put on "an act" to please people or decide what he should do based on public opinion. I admire President Bush for staying true to what he believes is good for America. I do not appreciate the way the press, generally speaking, gives him the most difficult time on all sides. McCain needs to show respect for a good president who is doing everything he can to protect America, advance democracy and lesson government control over the people.
