Please treat Hillary as a person. not an object to be ridiculed. As a lifetime democrat I want experience not appeal of a rock star so I will commit to Mccain if Obama wins. I want substance not speechs with nothing but personatilty enstead of empty talk.

to vote in Florida and Michigan again under rules which are accepted by the Democrats rule commitee.

To count the current votes is unacceptable and to ignore Florida and Michigan, respectively to count it 50:50 is unacceptable, too

Rules are the rules even for them....I would say so. If Hillary is the true leader she professes to be then she had better get to pulling her supporters out of the rage they have and into the real world. What should we love more....Hillary, Obama or our country? We have to think about what is real. Caring for and believing in a candidate should not supercede our responsibility to show up as adults in this political process, for the sake of our country, our children and grandchildren and most importantly our legacy as a country of fighters for law and order. The rules are the rules....

It is really sad how angry the clinton supporters have become. I was a supporter of the Clintons and am now an Obama supporter. Despite my candidate preference, I believe that the true anger should be at the republicans. When have they ever cared about the democrat vote or the right to have it counted? To see our party angry at eachother's preferred candidate and threatening not to vote is absurd! Where was this venom and anger when Bush/republicans took the election in 2000 and 2004. Did we threaten to withold our votes then? This attitude of anger will defeat the democrats. To hear people swear to God is sad. We would risk having a republican set policy, pick judges, make supreme court appointments and continue this war in Iraq and Afghanistan just because our person did not win...makes me angry!

i am a clinton die hard. i know many people are working really hard to sabotage hillary's chances. i think it is unfair and not right . but i will say one thing and this i do swear i will not and i repeat not vote for obama . the only person i will vote for is hillary. i also think that everything in florida and michigan and i mean everything not just half but all should go to hillary. obama took his name off the ballot so i say he gets nothing and hillary takes all. remember no hillary means no vote from me this i swear to god. do the right thing and give hillary what she has worked so hard for, the presidency.

What is most fascinating about the primary problem is how so many people seem angry at the voters of these states. I really think everyone should refocus the blame where it belongs- the politicians!! (Most of which are Republicans.) Republicans in Florida really do know how to sabotage the Democrats when they are threatened. They did it in 2000 and they've done it again. I feel sorry for the voters of the two states, it's not like anyone asked THEM if THEY were okay with any of this and now they take the punishment for the idiots who caused it. Hopefully none of these people will ever get re-elected.

Prior to the election, the DNC said both states would be stripped of their vote if the election was held prior to the deadline. The DNC should hold the states accountable. If the voters are upset - then take your anger out against those who set the election date. The DNC cannot back down on this or else they will undermine any sense of credibility at the national level.

However, if (big if, in my humble opinion) the DNC decides to allocate the votes, they should split them between the candidates. To not do so would not be to Obama as he played by the rules; he remeoved his name from the ballot when the ballot did not count - to now go back and say "we were just kidding, these votes will count after all" is absurd.

Either split the delegates or do not count them at all; my preference is to not count them at all and let the states accept responsibility (and anger) for their citizens and be held accountable!

Why do the superdelegates in Florida count and the regular voters don't? That is like counting Florida voters as 0 and superdelegates as 1. Does that remind you of 3/5 and 1? 0 can't vote. 3/5 couldn't vote. The DNC forgot about our constitution and that very important amendment.

Someone on this site lied and said that Hillary campaigned in Florida. No, but if you reference the Miami Herald you will see that Obama ran ads in Florida. He took his name off in Michigan because he was afraid he would lose like in Florida.

katherine of IN 11:48PM May 23, 2008

Well, it's like if you make a law that's illegal. You protest and get it thrown out. That's the way it should be. Florida should definitely count and probably Michigan, too. Those who gave up their right to vote because the DNC told them to need to accept the responsibility of that. The picking of delegates needs ot be revised, too. They need to be allocated according to the popular vote of each state. I believe the Senators and Representatives should vote as their state or district went.

The count in Florida should stand as originally voted. Michigan, too. To do otherwise is to cheat the American people and betray us.

Then, there is the crooked way the delegates are selected. If Hillary wins a state, Obama gets the delegates. Now no one out there can tell me that is right. I don't care who you are for, it is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Hillary wins all the big states with the most delegates doesn't get the delegates which is cheating, cheating, cheating. Nevada is a one of the examples. Hillary won the state, but Obama got more delegates. Now the democrats are making up more delegates and these delegates are going to Obama. Now that is cheating, too.

What is wrong with the Democrats? I know I'm a Democrat, but those so called Democrats are cheaters and don't care about the American people. Many Democrats will just sit home if they don't cross over or vote third party. I'm for a new Democrat Party for the fair and honest Democrats. The DNC and the caucuses have been making up rules as they go along. They bully and pressure because you have to say who you are for , so I don't think it is a fair vote.
