Iranians Flock to Polls in Presidential Election

What is surprising to me is that this dog & pony show by Iran was even taken seriously.The outcome was never in doubt.Talk about win/win/win .First, a bonanza for their domestic intelligence apparatus -now they know how many doors they have to knock on in the middle of the night.Secondly, they can get the critics of their repressive authoritarian regime masquerading as a misunderstood theocracy to back off.Last, but probably with the biggest pay off,the "victory" sends a message throughout the Muslim world that when given a choice between a pro West candidate & Ahmadainejad -the incumnbant still wins going away.Have any more bright ideas?
