Murders statistic from

http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_mur_percap-crime-murders-per-capita

# 1 Colombia: 0.617847 per 1,000 people

# 4 Venezuela: 0.316138 per 1,000 people

# 5 Russia: 0.201534 per 1,000 people

# 23 Bulgaria: 0.0445638 per 1,000 people

# 24 United States: 0.042802 per 1,000 people

"Chavez oposition" Chris Jones speech lies. Only murders are reflected in statistic for reasons of difficulty for hide bodies.

Chavez has changed statistics system and that does not represent facts. Venezuela is paradisiacal in official statistic. Only electric energy, by surprise lives in permanent black out, water is rationed, public services fail. The regime is now thinking and taking actions founded in his lies and reality knocking all country.

Wow, Ms. Eddie, you bring up some good points. Nepotism is one. When you say that were you thinking of the Bush family? No, wait… The Clintons. Oh no, you meant the Kennedy family. Ohhh, you meant the Rockerfellers. Oh, you were just having a brain fart. Yeah, yeah, that’s what I thought.

You say, “Its sad that Venezuela has become the current village idiot of this continent.” Shouldn’t that be “It” with an apostrophe s? But generally your English good for a Mexican. But you don’t think you live in Mexico—ahhh, a historically retarded Mexican. Alas, that is not the only blunder in that sentence: you are under the misguided notion that Venezuela is on the same continent as Mexico. Now that’s stupid. Did you learn that in the public school system?

Then you make the blunder, “Everything you own, everything you consume and eat is because of Capitalism making it all happen.” Your current form of capitalism, which is largely financed by communist China and Imperial Japan, only bails out the rich and supports corporations; you need look no further than the bank bailout and the interstate highway system. I think it’s really socialism that makes it all happen. Your capitalism can’t even pay its own bills. (Go Gov. Schwallepecker!)

At least you can take pride in your intellect. You blame the deaths of millions on Russia but fail to look into the mirror. You, and scum like you, managed to inspire Hitler in his quest for the extermination of a race. The weird part is that they failed where you succeeded. You killed millions and you celebrate it every year. Your idol, Ronnie Raygun, was convicted in the World Court for crimes against humanity for killing hundreds of thousand in Nicaragua and Central America. (Go Ronnie!) Your other idol, GeeDub, killed more Iraqis that Hussein did during his regime. (But it wasn't for oil, it's just because scum, and scum like you, enjoy killing. Not to mention oil.)

If you want to have a civilized discussion, bring some facts to the table, not just a heapin’ helpin’ of your arse fudge. Man, are you smart. Capishe?

P.S. Your mom says hi, between gagging and licking.

Just Call Me Sir 10:12AM May 20, 2009

"Capitalism is the belief that money is more important than people. I don't believe that philosophy. I support anyone who opposes capitalism"

^^^ And you my friend are an arse. Look around you. Everything you own, everything you consume and eat is because of Capitalism making it all happen. You write in English, the official language of Capitalism.

Thing is, you couldn't survive without Capitalism. Your country would be even more dirt poor if it didn't have a Capitalist-friendly economy for so many decades. The crap will hit the fan for you commies when you realize that no company is going to want to set foot on your soil during the Chavez dictatorship. And you'll end up having to suck up to Argentina, Brazil or some other country in order to receive goods that are no longer produced in your country. Venezuela will become the panhandler of South America.

And what the fudge is so good about following a communist or socialist ideology? Try asking Poland or some other East European country how they fared under the control of the old Soviet Union. Millions of their citizens were killed, exiled or raped for years and years. The people were living in squalor and misery. Living in constant fear of their "leaders", who controlled what they did every day and even what they said in public. Is that your idea of an ideology that is better than Capitalism? No wonder you support Chavez.

And look, even Chavez knows that he depends on the US and its capitalistic ways. Venezuela exports the majority of their products to the US. They need us. Venezuela is NOTHING without us. If it wasn't for the US, Venezuela wouldn't even have an economy.

Its sad that Venezuela has become the current village idiot of this continent. What a craptastic way to begin the 21st Century.... by becoming a regular banana republic with a typical megalomaniac as their leader.

Its pathetic how some of you Venezuelan commies brag about your "superior ways" and yet you're the definition of a backward third world country in every sense of the word. You have in fact NOTHING to feel proud about. You have an idiot for "Presidente". Who currently has SEVERAL FAMILY MEMBERS HOLDING OFFICES, including his sons. Nepotism to the max.

So please, go back to sucking Chavez arse but don't expect anyone with a brain to do the same. Capishe?

EddieMac of CA 1:40PM May 19, 2009

Hector Alvarez of NY, thanks for taking the time to respond. I could find no source to verify you claim that, "61,5 PC of the population are against the chavez way of governing..."

I don't believe that there is a good vs. evil argument to be made. It's really a people vs. people argument. For centuries the indigenous population has been given the the table scraps of the colonists. I don't see a problem with the poor indigenous getting their fair share of the countries resources.

There is no such thing as free trade. It's more like the rich taking commodities from the poor for less than market value, selling those commodities for more that market value, then taxing the poor for stealing from them.

Capitalism is the belief that money is more important than people. I don't believe that philosophy. I support anyone who opposes capitalism. If the people vote in someone who believes differently that you, that does not mean it's not democracy.

You did answer a question, but it was about Carmona, not Chavez.

Some statistics on crime I found indicate that in Venezuela there are

9.3 crimes for every 1000 people vs 80/1000 in the US

Rape - .11/1000 vs .30/1000 in the US

Robberies - 1.37/1000 vs. 1.38 in the US

Prisoners - 76 per 100,000 vs 715 per 100,000 (nationmaster.com)

Even though the US claims to be fighting a war against terrorism, and has an extradition treaty with Venezuela (since 1923), why is Luis Posada Carriles living as a free man in Miami,Florida?

No offense intended, but it takes a blind man to believe the US is a great country and Venezuela evil.

You claim, "It is imposible to live well in Venezuela beacuse of people like you who have an instruction to destroy what is good, I call it EVIL." (I think you mean to imply that my thinking is evil.) I claim it is impossible to live well in Venezuela because of the meddling of the US government and its desire to control global oil reserves. Imagine if N. Korea had oil... We'd've bombed them back to the stone age years ago. The basic philosophy of oil is something like: If you are brown people whose country sits atop a vast reservoir of oil, your lives are in danger. You don't see us going after Canada, Norway, Russia, or any white nations... What about Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, Afghanistan (pipe lines from Iraq)? Next we're going after any nation with a good supply of clean, fresh water.

Who's evil?

Chris Jones 9:36AM May 14, 2009

Senor Jones, Pedro Carmona should be in GUANTANAMO like the rest of the crooks and criminals inmates there, the problems with those in favor o Chavez live outside the country and read news papers and watch TV of that comunist regime that Chavez has in the poor country Venezuela. Sorry if I ofended you but the the 61,5 PC of the population are against the chavez way of governing that country he has no respect for no one, he hates people, free trade, doctors, lawyers, evrery one tha has something bad to say about him, he believes he is god, he thinks he owns all Venezuela, does not accept critics he wants to meke Venezuela as poor as Cuba his job is to destroy our country in orther to every one goes to him to beg for food, clothing, good education not socialist etc. It is that wise for you? I think you work for that comunist regime,

Sorry but it is getting worst every day in Caracas and the rest of the country. It is imposible to live well in Venezuela beacuse of people like you who have an instruction to destroy what is good, I call it EVIL.

Hector Alvarez of NY 11:49AM May 11, 2009

Hector Alvarez of NY, please give me some facts or figures to cross check. My mind is open, it seems that you are the one blinded.

In your first letter you state, "Gentlemen, he had resigned by the day of february 11th, his resignation was readed by his minister of war in a television transmition country and world wide." In the documentary, "The Revolution will not be Televised," it's pretty clear that he never resigned. The CIA backed puppets of the U.S., and the snipers who shot innocent bystanders, aided by the elitist media owners, staged this failed coup.

In your response to me, you state, "Hugo Chavez lies in all his speeches saying wrong and outdated things supposed he did and you'll see later it was not true." I'm totally open and interested in your examples of your claim.

You also state, that Venezuelans want "to travel to USA to visit as the ones like me that consider your great nation as my second country. Bush lied virtually every time he opened his mouth while on TV. Obama has already backed out of most of his election campaign promises.

What are the parts that make it great? Do you think that the politicians here don't lie to you? Please, I'm wanting to be persuaded... give me some examples. You didn't answer a single question I posed in my first letter. Here's just one more; why don't you think Pedro Carmona is a traitor? What makes him so good?

Chris Jones 12:05PM May 10, 2009

Chris Jones from XX, boy you are so out of reality that is pitiful to discuss with you, please read more and not only papers from the chavez side, you are in candid camera, please open your mind it is better for all of us. Understand that Hugo Chavez lies in all his speeches saying wrong and outdated things supposed he did and you'll see later it was not true. He cheats on people like you with comunist and tihgt mind.

Hector Alvarez of NY 9:44PM May 08, 2009

Hector, why don't you move back to the land of the free? If it's so great, why did you leave?

Alberto, Jimmy Carter's organization monitored the election. In the U.S. the government refuses to allow Carter, or anyone, to monitor the elections (except maybe FOX news). This is a quote from www.cartercenter.org "...We congratulate the Venezuelan people for their enthusiastic participation in yesterday's election, and for their demonstration of faith in the democratic process. They voted calmly and peacefully, but definitively for change. We congratulate Venezuela's National Electoral Council and all of those who worked to ensure a smooth and efficient electoral process."

Rosa, President Chavez never resigned. He was kidnapped and held captive. He was elected my greater margins than any president from the U.S. ever has been.

Currently Venezuela has a better literacy rate than the US. Why is that? There is health care for all; what about the US? There is free higher education; the U.S.? He provides the U.S. poor with low cost heating oil in the winter; the U.S.? He's redistributing land which was stolen by colonists. He still faces well coordinated opposition from colonialist capitalists there and from the U.S. Sure there is crime, but just look at any newspaper from the US--there has been a huge rash of violence against police, fathers killing families, church workers killing children, actors head-butting fashion designers... where is there no violence?

Any of you, answer me this, why should American and other foreign corporations own utility companies in Venezuela? Why should 20 percent of the population, made up of colonialist familes, own more than 80 percent of the land. Why should oil companies get the lions share of profits from the oil of Venezuela? Why did the private television stations refuse to broadcast any of the legitimate government's news after the failed coup attempt? Why did the elitist doctors refuse to help the poor when Chavez asked them for help? Why did he have to turn to Cuba to find qualified doctors that would volunteer to help? Why would you worship the only country to successfully accomplish genocide against its original inhabitants--by some estimates to be more than 12 million innocent aboriginals? The US has a health care system that has, what, the best infant mortality rate in the world? No, 31 on the list for infant mortality. Now that's some great health care.

Long live, and good luck to, the most popularly elected president in the history of democracy, Hugo Chavez!

Chris Jones 3:23AM May 08, 2009

Mr Kayak:

I lived and worked in Chicago for 20 years, so I know freedom

Now I live in Venezuela, so I know what a modern dictatorship is.

I worked in the last two elections as a witness and saw the many forms of fraud practiced by the Chavez regime. We have a voter registry of 17 million in a country of 27 million inhabitants. We, the citizens are not allowed to audit the roll. Through information leaks, we found 1.8 million voters residing at the house in Caracas.

We are the only country in the world forced to vote with a voting machine that runs Windows, It is a computer.

Unemployment and missery are rampant here. We stand in lines to buy chicken, sugar, and even coffee. We used to be self sufficient on those products, now we import them.

The list of Chavez's crimes is too long to list here. I urge you to do your research.

I invite Ms. Debra Bell to come live here for a week. You would be welcomed at my house. I want you to witness what we live here.

Hector Garcia 11:20AM May 07, 2009

Did you really do anything? It seems you has only written the first ten things you have found in internet.

You are talking about an dictator who has destroyed a country.

How can you be so irresponsible?

Just for an example: According to your article, Chavez "makes jokes" in Alo Presidente",why did you forget to explain about the insults of Chavez to anybody including your ex-President Bush who was called by him in "Alo Presidente" "donkey, alcoholic, killer, terrorist", among others "jokes". Or when Chavez called to Obama "ignorant".

What a sad job has you made.
