Why Obama Might Be Able to Reconcile with Russia

Theres nothing magical about the recent rehabilitation of the the strained relationship between the U.S and Russia. The bottom has fallen out of Russias economy in the past few months via the world economic crisis. The mighty bully simply got punched in the stomach thus sweetining her tone. Not rocket science people.

The president has only been in office for 2 months, policy of any kind takes at least a year to become active.
This president is the only one who is trying to build a better world.
Bigots should put away their stupid remarks, which only show how much they hate Americans.
This is the first time in eight years that I didn't cringe when the president spoke or represented our country.

I feel increasingly sad over Obama's money drive. He seems unwilling to change anything about America that has led to our debt but instead want to keep America the same and have everyone again pay for it. Meanwhile, he is spending more of America's money by sending people to kill others in another country out of fear that they will become powerful. If their statement that they just want freedom from America is true; they are not really wrong in that wish. Why should they want to have a country that is in denial of what a failure it really is in being a peaceful nation; hence the rise in adoptions from our own terrist the fostercare system, rise in domestic violence over the years, rise in crime, pollution crisis, and our dependence on the worst harm to the environment of all, nuclear energy. Obama, seems like he is going to just be like all the other presidents and opt for power and money over the future generations. He seems to believe that america is greater than it really is just because he wants to be a great leader. The only way America can be a great leader is to realize that it never was that great to begin with. We lost our greatness when we started taking our rights away, when they continued to ignore environmentalist taking our future away, and when they continue to destory the world with nuclear technology. Humans were not created probably to drive cars around and not feel the Earth to stay in balance. I believe that humans have the right to alter their brains and learn how to take care of themselves at higher levels with naturalpathetic medicines. There is more and more mental illness because of humans coldness towards each other and the drive for materialism that is killing the earth and thus ourselves. Humans can learn to be at balance with nature and the herbs that alter our brains. We don't have to be greedy and uncaring about each other but can learn how to be highly functioning individuals that isn't determined by a bank account. Because our government usees abuse to control their own people with jail and human rights; and because our government chooses killing people as a means to get their way; they are not going to be completely functional. No government that does not know how to govern without jail or violence will be totally functional. But humans have not learned how to evolve and take care of each other without violence. The wars are really a lack in leadership from our country. The war is from greed and the inability to let people be free. I am increasingly sad over Obama as a President. He seems to be selling out like all the others did.

Its all just a sign of the times so even though the things obama does most of the time doesn't agree with God it may have to happen for the Rapture and the tribulation to come to pass, so quit fighting and make sure you have Jesus or you will be in a whole lot more trouble after the Rapture.

Sending a lightweight boy to do a mans job.What a joke!That,s what,s wrong with the country,now,white people thinking old white men know best.This is a new day and age.I wonder if he were white and young, instead of black and young would Foolish to trust Russia,think that way?Let Obama do his job.George Bush was old and white and look what happened.A total mess.Any young man is better than what just left office,even if he,s young and black.This is 2009,not 1959.

I think a lot of you are not looking at the fact that President Obama only asid he was willing to "talk". Many of these leaders probably will change their stance on the issues that are important to our country. Therefore, I do not feel any type of agreement or friendship will occur. You should have a little faith in our president. Everyone can judge and say what they would do, but you don't know what will happen until you are in that situation, (Even John McCain). Everyone is a critic, but nobody really can say that they could do better or has a true solution. Our country is in a lot of turmoil,people are out here killing their kids and themselves because of the stress of losing their jobs. It is so much more going on for the "little people" like myself who have felt the recession long before it was confirmed. People are just trying to survive.

Russia just announced a submarine building plan which will build subs that can carry cruise missiles that can specifically destroy aircraft carriers. They will be ready for deployment in 2011. What is the only country in the world that currently has aircraft carriers? You win if you said the USA.
We will suffer sending a lightweight boy to do a man's work. I would have a lot more faith in John McCain in this meeting.

Perhaps you've heard a new word in your daily intelligence briefing,
Its called "Asymmetric Warfare". Its when a larger power uses a smaller country
to be its attack dog, while it sets back and watches. This is whats happening with Iran.
Russia is using Iran by giving them the means to make the bomb, while it sets back and watches us use prods that have never worked (like sanctions) and rattle our sabers at them.
Russia is NOT OUR FRIEND!! John McCain was right about Putin, Once KGB always KGB!
He is going to restore Russia's military might, and when the shooting breaks out, they will be involved. Look at Georgia, they said they were pulling out...they are still THERE!! Next for them, ALL OF GEORGIA and UKRAINE.

President Obama is willing to negotiate. Remember he said those who are willing to open thier clitched fiast. I stringly believe this anyone.United Stats is not here in this world to create trouble but to resolve it. Terrorists have no place in this world Opening welcoming hand is the best thing for Russia and United States We can share ideals and methods on everything . We might be opposites on issues, however I sure there is always resolutions. Look what the Late President Reagan did with Russia that people thought was never possible. It brought communism out of woods and democracy of socialism to Russian. The Cold War was written for all U.S. Presidents from Franklin Roosevelt to the Geroge H.W. Bush Now the new war on protectism and terrorist must be fought. I might sound like the last GW Bush yet I do agree with him on terrorism . Maybe North Korean will lose it 's fist

Everybody is being targeted as an enemy, both opponent may say things against each other that may aggravate the situation!
The real enemy here is the thought that the "situation" is using them (Americans vs. Russians) to make a protest against each other. We all know as humans that killing will never be a key towards unity, we shouldn't be allowing ourselves to still give-in to phenomenon that occured way...way....back!
End this war, it won't lead us anywhere.... this will only prolong the agony of each individual, it won't bring any progress to each Nation, why spend money for armours or weapons? Many nations suffer because they have nothing to eat... why not use those money being invested to weapons that kills lives to people who starves to death?!
Let us all get up from being fallen asleep... at "recognition" ...we don't need such fame to be known worldwide... drop your weapons!
The real enemy here is "allowing the situation to rule over us" instead of ruling over the situation... we don't live by two eyes to look behind, rather to see what lies ahead! Let's move forward & use our wisdom properly!
