Bernie Sanders: Make the Rich Pay Off the Deficit

I continue to support Bernie and his efforts to find balance in the topsy-turvy world in which he lives.

I cannot claim to understand what is going on in Washington; only to think that perhaps the Kool-Aid got too close to President Obama.

I would also encourage people to consider that this entire problem does NOT rest on President Obama's shoulders inasmuch as his predecessors' contributions play a significant role in where we are, today, as a nation. This problem will not/cannot go away in a mere two to four years. Anyone thinking that President Obama's got a magic wand to make everything better in a very short amount of time has drunk the Kool-Aid of another kind.

This does NOT mean that Bernie's points are moot. I'm just suggesting that people curtail their vehement venting about President Obama being ineffectual and consider to whom their opposition would be better directed.

C'mon now...if *I* can "get it", so can you!

We have many problems not just taxing which I'm in favor of if corperations wish to keep jobs overseas. We also need reform on spending I believe in also reducing goverment. Removing fraud out of social security. Making Politicians responsible for their actions. Removing contributions to one party or another to get favors. And many more actions which at this time I can't get into but you get the point. But #1 stop these Wars that our just costing lives and money, what was wrong with just sending some missles in for stratigic hits. thats what intelligence is for isn't it

I don't know, I ask you: Why are the working classes again being asked to shoulder the burdens of the debt? When did this conversation change? I NEVER considered the working classes of this country as an alternative to fixing the MESS we find ourselves in. I guess this is what you get when people put "stuff" over and above each other. Mr. President, don't give even an inch! How outrageous. Bernie Sanders, you rock.

It is time for the President of the United States to stand up to the Republicans, develop a backbone. If he doesn't agree to have the rich pay their fair share, if he once again gives in to the Republicans demands, I hope a Democrat like Bernie Sanders will step up and challenge the President to step down and let someone who will support the vast majority of the American people run for the presidency. I voted for Obama and he has accomplished a lot of things; however, he does bow down to the Republicans where the poor and average Americans are concerned. The President needs to go with the Democrats and the spineless Democrats need to back him, if he stands up to the Republicans.

Something for your congressman and his wealthy contributors to consider.

At least someone in Washington is standing up for the majority of Americans. Time after time the money interests continue to get more and more breaks while the whats left of he middle class get squeezed more and more with more of us dropping out. I hope that my senators will stand with you and force the republican regressives out into the open for what they are, representatives of rich and powerful and not the people.

The richest have many billions $ wealth, to poorest have millions $ debts to the wealthy!

The only effective way to take to the wealthy for giving it to the poor is hyper-inflation, meaning inflation rates greater then the maximum lending rates that the poor must pay to the banks!

Sorry: all the "fight against inflation" have enriched the wealthy and transformed the middle class into new poor !

Interest rate do not fall from heaven: the poor always pays to the rich!
