Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander has tried and failed two times before to win the presidency, but now he has a party backing him—the Alfalfa Club Party. The slogan he picked upon winning the nomination: "No We Can't! Do Nothing!"

The recent Alfalfa Dinner, where political and business leaders gather for a night of food and fun, is typically off the record. We recently reported on some of his funny lines, but now we've got a YouTube recording of Alexander's original and humorous performance at the gag dinner in which he takes shots at President Obama, Sarah Palin, Vice President Joe Biden, and 2012 front-runner Mitt Romney. The best part: he sings all of his words and even has a back-up singing group.

In it you will see that he was nominated by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell who praises Alexander's blandness. He even said that if the crowd Google the word bland, the search engine would come back with, "Did you mean Lamar Alexander?"

Check out his performance:

USNW is pretty pathetic at times when it comes to reporting meaning news. The above is not.

This chaff would not make good horse apples!
