This is a nice start. Dig deeper. $2.5 trillion over 10 years? 10 years? You can do better than that considering how quickly things progressed to this point.

We need all of the above and more similar cuts.

while they are at it lets cut the senate an congress, and other leaders in of our nation wages by 10% also have them, not draw pensons until they reach the age of 70, then only social security if they will start there it would be a good start i know that the are serious about this

This is a good start...sadly, they will think this is "it".

I did not see where they voted to increase the debt limit, this is a good thing if they have not.

We don't have a "debt crises", we have a SPENDING CRISIS in D.C., and any cuts are welcomed.

Where are the cuts to Agra Business? Could it be they were not part of the GOP's plan of cuts because so many of them, such Ms. Bachman, are the beneficiaries of such programs? Ah, Socialism, guess it depends on the "brand" of Socialism for it to be bad :)

Did you know that the government funds free cell phones with 250 minutes per month to welfare recipients?! (Assurance Wireless). Why?! Why do taxpayer dollars fund luxury items for welfare recipients?!

Cut the department of education. It has not improved anything. Have a new " Grace Commission" Find duplicating services and eliminate one or both. We are in a survival mode. We don't want to end up like Greece. They are doomed.

Jim of MO 7:18PM July 20, 2011

Eliminate the Langer Jeweled Bearing Act.

Does anyone out there, besides me, even know what this is?

Keep Social Security and the Vets checks.

Do we want to plunge our seniors into total nightmare without escape?

If we turn on our veterans, our disabled and our elders, how shall the

rest of you reap what you have sown?

Zee Kallah of AZ 9:31PM July 18, 2011
