Hillary Pitches Signed DVD for Money

December 3, 2010 RSS Feed Print

Over two years after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton got shellacked by Barack Obama in the 2008 Democratic primaries, she remains in debt and has gone the Home Shopping Network path to raise money: Selling signed copies of a DVD recording of her Democratic Convention speech. [See a gallery of political caricatures.]

In an E-mail to her Hillary Clinton for President supporters, she begs with a repeat of a speech line: "You never gave in. You never gave up. And together, we made history."

The deal, her group says, is simple: Pay $50 and get a DVD of the speech. Pay $250 and it comes with a "signature" DVD. Act now, comes a warning, because there are only 50 of those available. Here's the E-mail:

Dear P,

Hillary - as always - said it best.

"You never gave in. You never gave up. And together, we made history.

As we all know, campaigns are tough, but having loyal supporters like you helped make Hillary's campaign one that will never be forgotten. By making a contribution today, you will have your own personal memento of the "determination to keep going, often in the face of enormous obstacles."

Contribute $50 or more today, you'll receive a DVD copy of Hillary's and President Clinton's convention speeches - a unique piece of history.

Hillary would not be where she is today without your constant support, dedication, and friendship over the years. Because of you, we are so close to retiring her campaign debt once and for all -- and we will always be proud that we made history together!

Thank you again.

Regardless of the constant misogynist "shellacking" by a boneheaded media that ignored her and exalted a baritone voiced "Hope and Change" mantra with no resume of significance; despite the never-ending bullying tactics of the DNC and dirty race-card playing by the Axelrod gang, this woman called HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON was not forced by anyone to exit the ring---at least not without fighting. And you sure as hell can't say the same for this tepid teleprompter narcissist currently serving the interests of lobbyists and campaign boosters.

Hillary's historic run will be remembered for generations in history books for the human rights of women that have been elevated thanks to her tenacity, strength and ability to speak ot the heart of the matter. Mr. Obama's incredibly weak and disappointing tenure will be a footnote highlighted next to Carter's own....

She would have fought like a tiger for the rights of working Americans and not just the interests of Wall Street that are pulling the Obama Puppet strings! Remember her promise of Single Payer Health Care and not this sham sell-out to Insurance Companies thanks to Obama's give-aways on the backs of Seniors and social security! Remember, her initiative for allowing people being foreclosed out of their homes? Obama just tossed it out the window! Hillary knew how to navigage the political ship in favour of the best interests of hardworking Americans. She was, is, and always will be a True PUBLIC SERVANT!

Hillary would have been a Second FDR. Obama, like Sen. McCain's prophetic video said in hte summer of '08 when He visited Berlin with his Entourage, is more like Paris Hilton....
