Huffington Post Sending 10,000 To the Jon Stewart Rally in D.C.

Just in case you didn't know that Arianna Huffington's Huffington Post news site sits a hair to the left of the political center, she's decided to throw her weight behind Jon Stewart's Washington "Rally to Restore Sanity," taking place Saturday on the Washington Mall.

She's just announced plans to send 200 buses filled with 10,000 supporters to the rally from New York for free. She'll even be on one herself. Below is her announcement:

Arianna Huffington To Greet Riders Before Boarding One of the Buses Herself

Buses Depart Citi Field on Saturday, Oct. 30th, at 6 am

Over 10,000 people will gather at Citi Field parking lot on Saturday, October 30th, 6 am to board 200 buses provided by The Huffington Post to attend Jon Stewart's Washington, DC "Rally to Restore Sanity". Arianna Huffington, co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, will greet travelers before boarding one of the buses herself.

The thousands of bus riders will receive free round-trip transportation to DC to attend the much-publicized event. Said Arianna Huffington of The Huffington Post's support of the rally: "Taking a stand for sanity is not a partisan position. It's neither right nor left. It's reasonable. We have to stop demonizing anyone we disagree with, so we're proud to be driving our HuffPost Community sane."

Gates open for people to begin boarding buses at 5:00 am, and buses depart at approximately 6 am.
